Tiananmen Square, Beijing

Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
You'll be met upon arrival outside the baggage claim area at the Beijing Capital Airport and transferred to check into your hotel. The left hours of the day is free for individual activities.

Day 02: Beijing
You will be thrilled the whole day when you visit the Tiananmen Square - one of the largest and grandest city squares in the world; the Forbidden City of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Temple of Heaven - once was the royal temple. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served as Welcome Dinner at a well-known restaurant. The cheering Peking Opera (the national opera) is scheduled as evening delight after dinner. (B+L+D)

Day 03: Beijing
You will be accompanied by our local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites - the Great Wall, Badaling section. Drive to escape the shopping site tourist restaurants near the Great Wall to have a decent meal -Sichuan food, for lunch. The visits continue to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. Conclude the day tour after visit the Bird Nest (Olympic National Stadium) and the Water Cube (Olympic Aquatic Center). (B+L)

Day 04: Beijing - Xian
After the morning duration at the Royal Garden - Summer Palace, head for Xian by flight. Upon arrival, you will be met by your local professional tour guide. Visit the ancient City Wall on the way and then be transferred to check in at the well selected hotel.(B+L)

Day 05: Xian
You will have a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder of the world. Drive back by highway to downtown to have a decent lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. Visit  the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the  Great Mosque after lunch. In the evening, we arrange the Dumpling Banquet which is unique in Xian, the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show is scheduled afterwards.(B+L+D)

Day 06: Xian - Chongqing
Have the last Xian stop to the Provincial History Museum before a la carte lunch is served at a famous restaurant as well. Head for Chongqing by afternoon flight, your local professional tour guide will expect you with comfortable transfer service. Have a brief city tour to the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and enjoy the a la carte dinner at 4-star hotel, Holiday Inn Yangtze. Then transfer you to board the deluxe German-made cruise ship to stay overnight. (B+L+D)

Qutang Gorge, Yangtze River

Day 07: Chongqing - Fengdu
As the ship leave Chongqing at about 08:00 this morning, your relaxing Yangtze River cruise begins. The river guide will give a brief introduction of the cruise and the schedule during the process after the breakfast. In the afternoon, you will meet the initial onshore excursion to the Fengdu, known as the Ghost city. (B+L+D)

Day 08: Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping
The essential part of the Yangtze River cruise is coming today. You will appreciate the unique scenery of the Three Gorges. Qutang Gorge, the shortest but the grandest one. Wu Gorge is famous for its lofty peaks and mountains on the both sides. Xiling Gorge, the longest one among the three. An interesting junk adventure to Shennong Stream will offer you a marvelous day. It will last about 3-4 hours. After a whole night sailing, the ship will stop at the Sandouping village.(B+L+D)

Day 09: Sandouping
You will disembark for visit the grandest hydroelectric project in the world. It is still in the process and planned to complete by the year of 2009.  (B+L+D)

Day 10: Wuhan - Shanghai
You will arrive in Wuhan at 12:00. Have a visit to the Hubei Provincial Museum. After having lunch at a local famous restaurant, head for Shanghai by flight and your local professional tour guide will expect you with comfortable transfer service.(B+L)

Day 11: Shanghai
The first stop of Shanghai is to visit the Shanghai Museum which houses large collections of historical items. Then go ahead to the famous Yuyuan Garden, walk around Bund area along the Huangpu River and visit a local family. The Dinner is arranged at the restaurant Wang Bao He in the hotel which has a history of over 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. You will enjoy an amazing Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 12: Shanghai - Guilin
No escorted tour is scheduled in the morning and you could explore the city on your own pace. Head for Guilin by afternoon flight, your local professional tour guide will expect you with comfortable airport-hotel transfer service. The evening delight is to enjoy Ethnic Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre after dinner.(B+D)

Day 13: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Travel to Yangshuo by cruising along the magnificent Li River which itself is the highlight of today. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a brief country-road tour by bicycle will then be arranged. A local family will be somewhere along the road expecting your visit. If you are less skillful of riding a bicycle, you can take our electric car instead. Transfer back to Guilin(Tip: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can hardly meet your expectation, TCG suggests you have enough breakfast at the hotel this morning.)  (B+L)

Day 14: Guilin - Hongkong
The highlight Guilin tour continue to the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Head for Hongkong by flight and please arrange the airport-hotel transfer on your own upon arrvial. (B+L)

Day 15: Hongkong
Full day is free and we only book the hotel with breakfast for you. You are recommended to have the peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District, visit the Victoria Peak, the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen, Stanley Market and take taxi to the Pier to take Star Ferry to Kowloon side, walk along the waterfront promenade back to Hotel.  (B)

Day 16: Departure from Hongkong
After breakfast, arrange the hotel-airport transfer on your own to board your homebound flight.  (B)
