Li River cruise, Guilin

Day 01: Arrival in Hongkong
Arriving in Hongkong, please go to the hotel we have arranged for you on your own. The rest of the day is left for you to revitalize yourself from the jet lag or to explore the modern city on your own.

Day 02: Hongkong
Full day is free and we only book the hotel with breakfast for you. You are recommended to have peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District, visit the Victoria Peak, the Repulse Bay, the Aberdeen, the Stanley Market and take taxi to the Pier to take Star Ferry to Kowloon side, walk along the waterfront promenade back to the hotel. (B)

Day 03: Hongkong - Guilin
Hold the morning activities on your own. The air ticket will be given to you before you leave for Guilin by yourselves. Your local professional tour guide will expect you with comfortable airport-hotel transfer service.   (B)

Day 04: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Travel to Yangshuo by cruising along the magnificent Li River which itself is the highlight of today. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a brief country-road tour by bicycle will then be arranged. A local family will be somewhere along the road expecting your visit. If you are less skillful of riding a bicycle, you can take our electric car instead. Transfer back to Guilin. (Tip: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can hardly meet your expectation, TCG suggests you have enough breakfast at the hotel this morning.) (B+L)

Yangtze Three Gorges cruise tour

Day 05: Guilin - Chongqing
Continue the highlight scenic tour to Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Head  for Chongqing by flight and your local tour guide will expect you with comfortable transfer to the port after enjoying a rich buffet dinner at 4-star hotel, Holiday Inn Yangtze. Spend the night at the Luxurious German-made cruise ship.(B+L+D)

Day 06: Chongqing - Fengdu
As the ship leave Chongqing at about 08:00 this morning, your relaxing Yangtze River cruise begins. The river guide will give a brief introduction of the cruise and the schedule during the process after the breakfast. In the afternoon, you will meet the initial onshore excursion to the Fengdu, known as the Ghost city. (B+L+D)


Day 07: Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping
The essential part of the Yangtze River cruise is coming today. You will appreciate the unique scenery of the Three Gorges. Qutang Gorge, the shortest but the grandest one. Wu Gorge is famous for its lofty peaks and mountains on the both sides. Xiling Gorge, the longest one among the three. An interesting junk adventure to Shennong Stream will offer you a marvelous day. It will last about 3-4 hours. After a whole night sailing, the ship will stop at the Sandouping village.(B+L+D)


Day 08: Sandouping
 You will disembark for visit the grandest hydroelectric project in the world. It is still in the process and planned to complete by the year of 2009. (B+L+D)

Day 09: Wuhan - Shanghai
You will arrive in Wuhan at 12:00. Have a visit to the Hubei Provincial Museum. After having lunch at a local famous restaurant, head for Shanghai by flight and your local professional tour guide will expect you with comfortable transfer service.(B+L)

Day 10: Shanghai
The first stop of Shanghai is to visit the Shanghai Museum which houses large collections of historical items. Then go ahead to the famous Yuyuan Garden,  walk around Bund area along the Hangpu River and visit a local family. The Farewell Dinner is arranged at Central Hotel as the fitting finale to your discovery of China, the restaurant Wang Bao He in the hotel has a history of over 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. You will enjoy an amazing Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 11: Shanghai - Beijing
Head for Beijing by flight and your local professional tour guide will expect you with comfortable transfer service. Get your first impression of the capital city  when touring to  the Summer Palace.(B+L)

Temple of Heaven, Beijing

Day 12: Beijing
You will be accompanied by our local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites - the Great Wall, Badaling section. Drive to escape the shopping site tourist restaurants near the Great Wall to have a decent meal -Sichuan food, for lunch. The visits continue to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. Day 13: Beijing
You will be thrilled the whole day when you visit the Tiananmen Square - one of the largest and grandest city squares in the world;  the Forbidden City of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Temple of Heaven - once was the royal temple. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served as Welcome Dinner at a well-known restaurant. The cheering Peking Opera (the national opera) is scheduled as evening delight after dinner. (B+L+D)

Day 14: Departure from Beijing
