Day 01Arrive in Beijing

Your pleasant China tour starts once you arrive in Beijing. Our professional TCG guide will meet you at the airport with comfortable private transfer. The 3-star Golden Palace Silver Street Hotel with daily breakfast will be arranged for you for 4 nights (Address: No. 31 Ganyu Hutong, Wangfujing Avenue, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006; Telephone: 86-10-8511 0388). The first balance day is left for you to recover from the jet lag or explore the city on your own.

Day 02Beijing

The whole day down town sightseeing covers the solemn and respectful Tiananmen Square, the largest and the best-preserved Imperial Palace complex - Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven, which is largest group of structures in the country dedicated to rituals that pay homage to the glory of heaven. Our guide will offer you detailed introduction for you to learn this city.(B+L)

Day 03Beijing

On the third day the guide will assist you to experience the culture and enjoy the beauty of the Great Wall. Badaling Great Wall is situated in Yanqing County, over 70 kilometers (43 miles) north of Beijing. It is the most well-preserved section of the Great Wall, built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Continue to visit the great royal mausoleums the Ming Tomb via a holy Sacred Way. Definitely, you will not miss to see the appearance of the Bird's Nest in the distance on the way back to the downtown.  (B+L)

Day 04Beijing

We will reserve hotel accommodation with breakfast for you on the fourth day while the activities will be planned on your own. A visit to Beihai Park, which has a history of more than 1000 years, is a good choice if you want to explore one of the ancient imperial gardens. The scenic spot has the Forbidden City in the northwest and Jinshan Park in the west. You will not only find a grand view from the northern gardens but also the exquisite and graceful bearings of southern gardens in Beihai Park. Day 05Beijing - Xian

For your last day (the fifth day) in Beijing, the guide will lead you to explore the Summer Palace, Yonghe Lamasery and see the lovely pandas in Beijing Zoo. Lunch and dinner are served. After dinner, bid farewell to the guide by boarding an overnight soft sleeper train to Xian.(B+L+D)

Day 06 Xian

Arrival in Xian on the sixth day morning, be picked up by the local guide at the railway station and transferred to the 3-star Union Hotel for 2 nights (Address: No.51 Ximutou Shi, South Street, Xi'an 710002, China, Telephone: 86-29-87638888). After having breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which is often dubbed the “eighth wonder of the world”, the city's symbol - the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient City Wall. Day 07Xian

Only hotel accommodation with breakfast is arranged today. You will take the flexibility to tour the city around by yourself. For your reference, you can visit the Bell Tower within walking distance from your hotel. Bell Tower is one of the land marks of Xian; it is the largest and best-preserved ancient tower of the same kind in China, which owns high value no matter from architectural or artistic aspect. You might have a panoramic view of this city and absorb in the flourishing atmosphere, standing on the Bell Tower. Day 08Xian - Chongqing

The Xian tour comes to an end on the eighth day, take a shuttle bus (CNY26, the bus stop is quite near to your hotel. ) or taxi (about CNY150) to the airport and board a flight to Chongqing by yourself. Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Chongqing Airport. Your memorable Yangtze River tour begins at 10:00 p.m. as you board the luxurious cruise ship President Cruises (President No. 4 or President No.6 ).(B)

Day 09Fengdu

Visit the Ghost City of Fengdu County on the moring of the 9th day. It is believed that every soul is judged in the Ghost City after death, you can learn a lot about the culture of ghost in China here. There are various statues of ghosts and devils molded in temples of Ghost city, visitors will wonder at the artisanship of ancient craftsman and the unique style of architecture. In the evening, the Captain's Welcome Party will be held. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served on board.(B+L+D)

Day 10Badong (Shennong Stream) - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping

On the third day of your Yangtze River Cruise, visit Badong and take a small junk to enjoy the marvelous spectacle of the nature in the Shennong Stream. Continue sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served on board.(B+L+D)

Day 11Yichang - Shanghai

On the morning of the 11th day, you will disembark for an excursion to the under constructed Three Gorges Dam. After lunch, pack your luggage and complete check-out procedures. The local guide in Yichang will meet you on board. Drive to Yichang, visit the Yichang Museum if time permits. Take a flight to Shanghai. Since Shanghai is an international metropolis, there are clear road signs on the street. Besides, most the taxi-drivers there can speak English. We would like to leave Shanghai for you to travel by yourself. Day 12Shanghai

A free day is left to explore Shanghai by yourself and we only reserved the hotel with breakfast for you. Among those famous sightseeing spots, Shanghai Museum deserves a visit for certainty. Standing in the People's Square, it is renowned for holding high-quality and large-quantity collections of ancient Chinese bronze, ceramic, sculpture, painting and calligraphy. There are eleven galleries and three special exhibition halls in the Museum. You will enjoy your staying here for learning extensive Chinese history and culture. Day 13Shanghai - Guilin

The Shanghai tour comes to an end on the thirteenth day, take a shuttle bus or taxi to the airport and board a flight to Guilin by yourself. You will be picked up by the local guide at Guilin airport and transferred to the 3-star Hotel Universal  for 2 nights (Address: No. 1 Jiefangdong Road, Guilin 541001; Telephone: 86-773-282 8228). You might take the balance day to have a stroll in this scenic city.(B)

Day 14Guilin

On the fourteenth day morning, having a big breakfast at the hotel since the lunch arranged on the Li River cruise is not up to the normal standard. The guide will transfer you to board the cruise ship and then the following Li River cruise tour and a half-day Yangshuo trip will be handled by yourself. The cruise will get to Yangshuo at about 2:00 p.m. Upon arrival, you are advised to stroll along the famous Yangshuo West Street, where there are many bars, coffee shops, western-style restaurants and souvenir stalls. Alternatively, since Yangshuo is famous for the wonderful rural scenery, you could rent a bicycle or an electric car to tour around the countryside, which is not far away from the town. Generally, it will take one and a half hour. An energetic bicycle tour later, it will be time for you to go back to Guilin, purchase a ticket (CNY14 per person ) at the nearby bus station and take a taxi to the hotel by yourself.(B+L)

Day 15Guilin - Hong Kong

The tour activities on the fifteenth day will be on your side as it is quite easy for you to find your destinations in Guilin. The most attractive scenic spot should be the Reed Flute Cave, located in the northwest suburb of Guilin. You can take taxi or bus No. 58 (free of charge) to reach the nature created cave. There are numerous stalagmites, stele, stone flowers and stone curtains inside the cave. Visit the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill for the rest of the day. (Please click for more Guilin free day suggestions.)Late in the afternoon, take a shuttle bus or a taxi to the airport and board a flight to Hong Kong by yourself. Upon arrival at the airport, take a taxi to the reserved 3-star City View Hotel for 2 nights (Address: No. 23 Waterloo Road Kowloon, Hong Kong China; Telephone: 852-2736 0922) and handle the check-in procedure on your own. Day 16Hong Kong

The sixteenth day is left to explore this international metropolis by yourself and we only reserved the hotel with daily breakfast for you. You are suggested to have a half-day Hong Kong Island Tour. Peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District then to the vantage point - Victoria Peak, where one could take in breathtaking views of the harbor and Kowloon Peninsula in a glance. The tram is available every 15 minutes from early morning to late evening. Continue to visit the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and Stanley Market on your own. Day 17Departure from Hong Kong

The wonderful Hong Kong tour ends on the seventeenth day. Take an airport shuttle to the Hong Kong International Airport and board your homeward flight by yourself.(B)
