Great Wall, Beijing

Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
You'll be picked up upon arrival at the Beijing Capital Airport and transferred to check into your hotel. The left hours of the day is free for individual activities.

Day 02: Beijing
You will be thrilled the whole day when you visit the Tiananmen Square - one of the largest and grandest city squares in the world;  the Forbidden City of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Temple of Heaven - once was the royal temple. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served as Welcome Dinner at a well-known restaurant. The cheering Peking Opera (the national opera) is scheduled as evening delight after dinner. (B+L+D)

Day 03: Beijing
You will be accompanied by our local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites - the Great Wall, Badaling section. Drive to escape the shopping site tourist restaurants near the Great Wall to have a decent meal -Sichuan food, for lunch. The visits continue to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. Day 04: Beijing - Shanghai
After the morning duration at the Royal Garden - Summer Palace, head for Shanghai by flight, your local professional tour guide will expect you with comfortable airport-hotel transfer service. After have a wash at the hotel, walk across the Nanjing Road to reach the Bund area along the Huangpu River. (B+L)

Day 05: Shanghai
The first stop of Shanghai is to visit the Shanghai Museum which houses large collections of historical items. Then go ahead to the famous Yuyuan Garden and visit a local family. The Farewell Dinner is arranged at Central Hotel as the fitting finale to your discovery of China, the restaurant Wang Bao He in the hotel has a history of over 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. You will enjoy an amazing Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. (B+L+D)

Yangtze River cruise tour

Day 06: Shanghai - Wuhan
The last stop of Shanghai is occupied with a brief tour to the Jade Buddha Temple. Then head for Wuhan city by flight and be met upon arrival with comfortable private transfer. You will visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. Dinner is served on board and transfer to the check in at the German-made luxurious cruise ship. Your unforgettable Yangtze River tour begins at 19:00. Day 07: Sailing
The whole day you will sail on the ship. Enjoy the natural beauty on both sides while sailing. (B+L+D)
    
  
Day 08: Sandouping
Today you will disembark for visit the grandest hydroelectric project in the world. It is still in the process and planned to complete by the year of 2009. (B+L+D)
  
 
Day 09: Shennong Stream
The ship will stop at the Badong village and have an interesting junk adventure to Shennong Stream. In the process of excursion, you could enjoy the unique scenery along the way and learn the adept skill of the trackers. It will take about 3-4 hours. Get back to the ship afterwards. (B+L+D)
   
  
Day 10: Wanxian
Take car to visit a local village, Wanxian instead of much walking. You will go to see a local market and enjoy an acrobatic show. (B+L+D)

Day 11: Chongqing - Xian

The ship is scheduled to arrive in mountain city Chongqing at around 10:00. You should follow advice to pack your luggage and be met by guide. After a brief city tour to the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell, enjoy a rich buffet lunch at the 4-star hotel, Holiday Inn Yangtze. Head for Xian by flight and you will be met by your local professional tour guide. Transfer to check in at the well-selected hotel. (B+L)

Day 12: Xian
You will have a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder of the world. Drive back by highway to downtown to have a decent lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Great Mosque after lunch. In the evening, we arrange the Dumpling Banquet which is unique in Xian, the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show is scheduled afterwards. (B+L+D)

Day 13: Xian - Guilin
Have the last Xian stop to the Provincial History Museum and the ancient City Wall. A la carte lunch is served at a famous restaurant as well. Head for Guilin by afternoon flight, your local professional tour guide will expect you with comfortable airport-hotel transfer service. The evening delight is to enjoy Ethnic Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre after dinner. (B+L+D)

Day 14: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Travel to Yangshuo by cruising along the magnificent Li River which itself is the highlight of today. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a brief country-road tour by bicycle will then be arranged. A local family will be somewhere along the road expecting your visit. If you are less skillful of riding a bicycle, you can take our electric car instead. Transfer back to Guilin. (Tip: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can hardly meet your expectation, TCG suggests you have enough breakfast at the hotel this morning.) (B+L)

Day 15: Guilin - Hongkong

Continue the highlight scenic tour to Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Head for Hongkong and please arrange the airport-hotel transfer on your own upon arrvial. (B+L)

Day 16: Hongkong
Full day is free and we only book the hotel with breakfast for you. You are recommended to have the peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District, visit the the Victoria Peak, the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen, Stanley Market and take taxi to the  Pier to take Star Ferry to Kowloon side, walk along the waterfront promenade back to Hotel. (B)

Day 17: Departure from Hongkong
After breakfast, arrange the hotel-airport transfer on your own to board your homebound flight. (B)
