Departure:

Day 01: Arrival in Hongkong
Upon arrival in Hongkong, please go to the hotel we have arranged for you on your own. The rest day is left for you to revitalize yourself from the jet lag or to explore the city on your own.

Li River cruise, Guilin

Day 02: Hongkong - Guilin
Full day is free and we only book the hotel with breakfast for you. You are suggested to take the peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District, visit the Victoria Peak, the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen, Stanley Market and take taxi to the Pier to take Star Ferry to Kowloon side, walk along the waterfront promenade. Take flight to Guilin according to the flight schedule on your own. The air ticket will be given to you in advance. The Guilin tour guide will expect you at the airport with comfortable airport-hotel transfer to check in at the hotel. (B)

Day 03: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Travel to Yangshuo by cruising along the magnificent Li River which itself is the highlight of today. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a brief country-road tour by bicycle will be arranged. A local family will be somewhere along the road expecting your visit. If you are less skillful of riding a bicycle, you can take our electric car instead. Transfer back to Guilin. (Tip: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can hardly meet your expectation, TCG suggests you have enough breakfast at the hotel this morning.) (B+L)

Day 04: Guilin - Shanghai
Continue the city highlight tour to the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Head for Shanghai by flight and the local professional tour guide will expect you at the airport with comfortable airport-hotel transfer. You could make use of the rest time to discover the charming city by yourselves. (B+L)

Day 05: Shanghai
The first stop of Shanghai is to visit the Shanghai Museum which houses large collections of historical items. Then go ahead to the famous Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a short cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The flavored dinner is arranged at the Central Hotel, Wang Bao He restaurant which has a history over 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. Later, you will enjoy an amazing Portman Acrobatic Show at Shanghai Centre Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 06: Shanghai - Yichang
The last stop of Shanghai is a brief tour to the Jade Buddha Temple. Then head for Yichang city by flight and be picked up upon arrival with comfortable private transfer. Visit Yichang Museum if time is available. After dinner, board onto the deluxe New Century cruise ship for overnight. (B+L+D)

Day 07: Three Gorges Dam
Your expectant Yangtze River cruise commences at 07:00 in the morning. Sail along the eastern Xiling Gorge. Disembark and take a visit to the magnificant under constructed Three Gorges Dam Site. Then back to the ship and continue cruising along the western Xiling Gorge and pass the Five Level Ship Lock. After dinner, you are invited to participate the Captain's Welcome Party. (B+L+D)
 
 
Day 08: Three Little Gorges
Sail through Wu Gorge in the morning and take a detour to the verdant Three Little Gorges. You will also experience an exciting short pea-boat rowing. Back to the ship and view the scenery of the shortest Qutang Gorge. (B+L+D)

Day 09: Fengdu
Disembark at Fengdu to visit the Snowy Jade Cave. Then continue sailing to Chongqing. In the evening, join in the farewell party and enjoy your last night on board. (B+L+D)
 
 
Day 10: Chongqing - Xian
The ship is scheduled to arrive in Chongqing at around 08:30. Follow the advice to pack your luggage in advance. The guide will meet you on board and take you for a brief city tour to the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell. After a rich buffet lunch at the 4-star hotel, Holiday Inn Yangtze, head for Xian by flight and you will be met by the local professional guide at the airport. Transfer to check in at the well-selected hotel, where a luxurious buffet dinner is served. (B+L+D)

Day 11: Xian
You will have a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder of the world. Drive back by highway to downtown to have a decent lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient City Wall after lunch. In the evening, please attend the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the splendid Tang Dynasty Palace. (Add: No.75, Chang'an Road, Xian) (B+L+D)

Day 12: Xian

Take the full day to visit Xian beginning with the Provincial History Museum in the morning. After an a la carte lunch served at a well-selected restaurant, visit the Great Mosque and a local family. (B+L)

Forbidden City, Beijing

Day 13: Xian - Beijing
Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi on the way to the airport. After lunch, head for Beijing by flight. The local professional tour guide will expect you at the airport with comfortable airport-hotel transfer. (B+L)

Day 14: Beijing
You will be thrilled the whole day when visit the Tiananmen Square - one of the largest and grandest city square in the world;  the Forbidden City of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Temple of Heaven - once was the royal temple. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a well-known restaurant. The cheering national Peking Opera awaits you after dinner. (B+L+D)

Day 15: Beijing
You will be accompanied by the local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites - the Great Wall, Badaling section. Drive to escape the shopping site tourist restaurants to have a decent meal - Sichuan food, for lunch. The visit continue to the Ming Tomb and the Sacred Way in the afternoon. You will sample Cantonese cuisine for dinner at a top restaurant in the Wangfujing Street, a la carte style. (B+L+D)

Day 16: Departure from Beijing
After a tour to the Summer Palace, comfortable private hotel-airport transfer is arranged according to your flight schedule. (B)
