Tour FeaturesShanghai locates at the mouth of the Yangtze River and literally, the name of the city means: the city on the sea, the ancient cultures and dream explainers said water is wealth and means fortune, this is probably the reason that places close to sea or river are wealthier than the inland areas. We hope several days sailing in the Yangtze River bring a lot of dreams of water!
Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Shanghai
Shanghai Bund
Our guide will pick you up at Shanghai airport and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Bund, time permitting.
Accommodation: Ramada Plaza Shanghai 
Day 02: Shanghai
Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The welcome dinner is served at Central Hotel, whose restaurant Wang Bao He has a history of around 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable dinner will be followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 03: Shanghai - Wuhan
Visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Take a flight to Wuhan. Visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. After having dinner served at a local famous restaurant, check in at the deluxe German-made cruise ship. Your memorable Yangtze River tour begins at 19:00. (B+L+D)

Day 04: Sailing
Yangtze Three Gorges tour
Full day is saling. (B+L+D)
Day 05: Sandouping
Visit the site of Three Gorges Dam Project. (B+L+D)
Day 06: Shennong Stream
Disembark at Badong and take a small pea boat along Shennong Stream to enjoy the marvelous spectacles of the nature. (B+L+D)
Day 07: Wanxian
Visit the local market and the youth acrobatic show in Wanxian. (B+L+D)
Day 08: Chongqing - Beijing
At 10:00 arrive in Chongqing. Visit the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell. After having a rich buffet lunch at the 4-star hotel, Holiday Inn Yangtze, take a flight to Beijing and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 09: Beijing
Visit the Badaling Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site restaurants, you will be driven to have Sichuan food at a local popular restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area. (B+L+D)Accommodation: Crowne Plaza
Day 10: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 11: Departure form Beijing
Visit the Summer Palace, time permitting. See off. (B)

Each ship has central air-conditioners. Since there will be some outdoor excursions, recommend you do your packing according to the different seasons.
Spring and autumn: A warm coat, raincoat, and comfortable shoes
Summer: Light cotton clothing, shorts, sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, raincoat, and comfortable walking shoes
Winter: Heavy windproof coat, thick pants, raincoat, and comfortable walking shoes
Please note: It is recommended that you bring some formal attire for the cocktail party and banquet which will be held onboard during your cruise. If you do not desire to dress formally, casual clothing is also accepted.
Also recommend that you bring medicines for colds, fever, and diarrhea. We hope that you do not need them, but it is always better to be safe. If you are bringing prescription medicines, please be sure you bring adequate supplies to cover the duration of your trip. There is medical service onboard ship if you require more medical attention.
The bill for the tea was 380 RMB which is $50 USD. That seems like an extraordinary about of money for tea...but it was an airport teahouse so the price was surely inflated. I would rather spend $1USD to buy 2 bottles of beverage. Consumption at the airport is just like being robbed in a legal way.
