Day 01Arrival in Beijing

Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Beijing Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 02Beijing

Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.(B+L+D)

Day 03Beijing

Visit the Badaling Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site restaurants, you will be driven to have Sichuan food at a local popular restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way, the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. On the way back to downtown, drive by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium). You will see its appearance at a distance.(B+L)

Day 04Beijing - Xian

Visit the Summer Palace and the Lama Temple. Take a flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served for you at the hotel this evening.(B+L+D)

Day 05Xian

Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. This evening you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in Tang Dynasty Palace. Day 06Xian

Visit the Provincial History Museum. After enjoying the a la carte lunch at a local famous restaurant, visit the Great Mosque and a local family.(B+L)

Day 07Xian - Guilin

Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi on the way to the airport. After lunch, take a flight to Guilin and transfer to the hotel.(B+L)

Day 08Guilin - Yangshuo

Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged. You will visit a local villager's home to experience the farmer's lifestyle there. Alternatively, you can take our electric car instead of taking bicycles. (Tips: Lunch will be provided on the cruise today and since it may not meet your expectations, TCG suggests that you have a larger breakfast at the hotel.)(B+L)

Day 09Yangshuo - Guilin

Morning is free. Return to Guilin, visit the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill in the afternoon.(B+L)

Day 10Guilin - Chongqing

Take a morning flight to Chongqing. After having lunch at a famous restaurant, visit the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo, the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell and Ci Qi Kou.Then transfer you to board the deluxe Yangzi Explorer cruise ship and an a la carte dinner is served for you on board. Your memorable Yangtze River tour begins at 22:00 as the ship sets sail.(B+L+D)

Day 11Chongqing - Fengdu

Disembark for an excursion to the Fengdu Ghost City. (alternate Shibaozhai).The Captain's Welcome reception Party will be followed by an a la cater dinner in the evening.(B+L+D)

Day 12Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping

Sailing through the Qutang Gorge and later the Wu Gorge. Disembark at Wushan Daning River for an excursion to the Shennong Stream. In the afternoon, continue sailing into western section of the Xiling Gorge. At 18:00, pass through the three gorges ship lock and a la carte dinner is served for you.(B+L+D)

Day 13Yichang - Shanghai

Disembark for an excursion to the under constructed Three Gorges Dam. Then pack your luggage and complete check-out procedures. After having lunch at the Yichang city, visit the Yichang Museum if time permits. Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel.(B+L)

Day 14Shanghai

Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The farewell dinner is served at Central Hotel, whose restaurant Wang Bao He has a history of around 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable dinner will be followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.(B+L+D)

Day 15Departure from Shanghai

Your pleasant China tour ends as we transfer you to the airport and help you board the flight back home.(B)
