Our guide will meet you outside the customs of Beijing Airport after you retrieve your luggage and clear the customs, and then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. After enjoying the Chinese Kung Fu Show at Red Theatre, we will transfer you to have the tasty Beijing Duck Dinner at the time-honored Quanjude restaurant in Qianmen Street. Our guide and driver will end today's service here and you can enjoy the dinner at your own pleasure and take a taxi back to hotel by yourselves. It should cost you no more than CNY15.00. (Note: Drinks are not included in the dinner. You can order and pay it on your own.)

Visit the Badaling Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site restaurants, you will be driven to have Sichuan food at a local popular restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way, the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. On the way back to downtown, drive by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium). You will see its appearance at a distance.

Visit the Summer Palace and the Lama Temple. Take a flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served for you at the hotel this evening.

Li River cruise tourDay 08Guilin - Yangshuo
Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged. You will visit a local villager's home to experience the farmer's lifestyle there. Alternatively, you can take our electric car instead of taking bicycles. (Tips: Lunch will be provided on the cruise today and since it may not meet your expectations, TCG suggests that you have a larger breakfast at the hotel.)

Morning is free. Return to Guilin, visit the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill in the afternoon.

Take a morning flight to Chongqing. After having lunch at a famous restaurant, visit the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo, the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell and Ci Qi Kou. Transfer you to board the deluxe New Century cruise ship. Your memorable Yangtze River tour begins at 23:30 as the ship sets sail.

Toasting with the Captain on Yangtze cruise tourDay 11Chongqing - Fengdu
Disembark for an excursion to the Snowy Jade Cave. The Captain's Welcome reception Party will be followed by a dinner in the evening.

Sailing through the Qutang Gorge and later the Wu Gorge. Disembark at Wushan Daning River for an excursion to the Shennong Stream. In the afternoon, continue sailing into western section of the Xiling Gorge. At 18:00, pass through the three gorges ship lock and a dinner is served for you.

Disembark for an excursion to the constructed Three Gorges Dam. Then pack your luggage and complete check-out procedures. After having lunch at the Yichang city, visit the Yichang Museum if time permits. Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel.

Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. A luxurious western buffet lunch will be specially served for you today, since we believe that you may have quite enjoyed the Chinese food during the tour and begin to miss your western meal. After lunch, take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. Tonight, an a la carte farewell dinner will be served at a fancy and famous local restaurant, which offers authentic Shanghai and Cantonese cuisine. The memorable dinner will be followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.

hello,i m planning to go to suzhou fom beijing.is it better to take the bullet train from beijing to shanghai n then from shanghai to suzhou by bus,or is it better to take a train from beijing to suzhou direct?actually i dont know much about the train from beijing to suzhou n the conditions of the trains.please help me out.

Why not go to suzhou directly from Beijing by a bullet train? It saves you time and trouble. The first class ticket is about rmb 508 while the second class ticket is about rmb423.
