CNY are accepted in most places in Hong Kong, like the big shopping mall, the hotels etc. But as I know, most restaurants may not accept it, as well as the stalls on the streets. But it is very convenient for you to exchange that. There are lots of exchanging points on the streets everywhere. In a word, you do not need to worry about the currency used in HongKong. Everything can be handled easily in this well developped city.

A little tip needed, thanks in advance.
Our tour will start from HK and we intend to exchange some Chinese Yuan before going. Do we also need to change some HK dollars? Can Chinese Yuan can be used in HK? I guess the hotels in HK may accept CNY. What about shopping on the street and eating at the normal restaurants? Waiting for your kind advice...
