One Sanhe Old Town

Sanhe Old Town is an ancient water town with a long history of more than 2500 years, the water-town is in the place where three counties (Shucheng, Lujing and Feixi) meet and play a very important martial role in the past time.

From Hefei to Sanhe Old Town, you can take tourist bus at the Tourist Bus Station (Tel: +86 551 4213 105, but the line is Chinese only) in Beicheng Road and it is nearby the Jiaonu Stage. It takes you 40 minutes to the Sanhe Old Town by taking the tourist bus and the transfer charge is CNY12.00 per person. Sanhe Old Town is an ancient water town with a long history of 2500 years, and you can see the Old River, old civilian residence, old theatrical stage and old battlefield. The combination ticket is CNY25.00 per person. Comparing with the other famous water-town like Zhujiajiao in Shanghai, Zhouzhuang in Suzhou and Wuzhen in Hangzhou, Sanhe Old town is bigger in size with strongly Hui-style, all buildings there are in pink walls and black tiles. It is suggested to take rickshaw to visit the town, and it costs about CNY20 - 30 for one hour.

Hefei is a beautiful Garden city, centuries-old history accumulates many historical relic and site, and the free circular-city parks make the city more attractive.

First day:  Baogong Temple - Jiaonu Stage - Former Residence of Lihongzhang
 
Bao River Park is located in the city center, and you can reach there by taking bus No. 6, 11, 47,106 and 134. Baogong Temple is in the island of the river, and its entrance fee is CNY20.00 per person. Along the river, you will find Baogong Tomb and the Qingfeng Ge (fresh air pavilion). In the Qingfeng Ge, a Bronze-music show was played at 15:00 everyday, the tickets is CNY15.00 per person. You can take a taxi (about CNY7.00) from Baogong Temple to Jiaonu Stage which is a huge platform looks like a castle. On the top of the flatform, there is an old temple named Mingjiao Temple was first built in Tang Dynasty. After visiting the Jiaonu Stage, you can take a taxi for CNY5.00 or take a walking for about 10 minutes to find the Huaihai Walking Street and the Former Residence of Lihongzhang is located in the middle of the street. The house is a typical civilian residence of Qing Dynasty. The entrance fee is CNY15.00 and opening time is 9:00 - 17:00.

Second day:  Hui Garden - Shushan Scenic Resort
 
Hui Garden is the biggest theme park in Anhui province, here you can see vivid replicas of the local historical culture and the famous scenic sites of 17 cities' in Anhui province. The entrance fee is CNY20.00 per person and opening time is from 9:00 to 18:00. You can reach there by taking bus No. 126, 148, 149, 150 and 226. From Hui Garden to Shushan Scenic Resort, you can take a taxi and cost CNY25.00 - CNY30.00. Shushan Scenic Resort was famous for its ancient volcano relic and beautiful natural scenery.
