OneChaohu Lake and Yinping Mountain

First day: Hefei - Chaohu Lake - Zhongmiao Temple - Laoshan Island
 
Chaohu Lake is one of the Five Biggest Freshwater Lakes in China, and the area of water surface is 80,000 hectares and it is the most famous sightseeing site in Hefei. There are many long-distance buses run between Hefei and Chaohu city, and you can take it from Hefei Bus Stataion (Address: 168# Ming Guang Road; Telephone: +86 551 4297263) and Xing Cheng Tourist Bus Terminal (Address: Zhan Qian Road, Telephone: + 86 551 4213 105). The direct bus is available every 20 minutes from 6:00 to 15:00, and it takes 70 minutes and costs CNY15.00 per person.  Maoshan Island is located in the middle of the Chaohu Lake and it is the highlight of Chaowhu Lake. You can take a cruise to get on the island and the cruise charge is CNY35.00 per person. Tonight, you can choose to stay in Chaohu City or get back to Hefei.

Second day: Chaohu City - Yinping Mountain
 
Yingping Mountain is in the South of Chaohu City, and it is famous for the Fairy Cave - an underground-river cave with long distance of 15 miles. You can take direct bus from the downtown area of Chaohu City to Yinping Mountain, and the transfer charge is CNY6.00 per person. The admission fee of Yinping Mountain is CNY40.00 per person.

TwoShouxian Old City and Bagong Mountain

 
First day: Heifei - Huainan - Shouxian Old City
 
From Heifei to Huainan, you can take direct bus or train. If you take train, you can choose train No. 2040 from Heifei to Shangqiu, and the train leaves Hefei at 8:30 am and arrives in Huainan at 9:40 am. The hard seat train ticket is CNY10.00 per person. Alternatively, you can take bus from Heifei to Huainan, but it takes you about 2 hours since there is no highway between these two cities and the road condition is not very good. The transfer charge is CNY22.00 per person.

Shouxian Old City is a state-class historical culture city with 800 years history since Song Dynasty. The ancient City Wall was built in Song Dynasty and used for the defense at that time, but now it becomes a "dam" to prevent flood from the city. There is a Baoguo Temple in the city and it is worthy to pay a visit for its fancy mural and caved stone. Rickshaw is the common transportation inside the city, and it is CNY2.00 - CNY4.00 every 2 kilometers.

Second day: Shouxian Old City (Huainan City) - Bagong Mountain
 
If you go to the Bagong Mountain from Huainan, you can take the tourist special line 121 from the downtown area of Huainan city, and it takes 1 hour and costs CNY12.00 per person. If set off from Shouxian Old City, you can take a taxi for about 15 minutes. Bagong Mountain is AAAA tourist site honored by China Tourist Bureau. It is not only famous by its beautiful scenery with green trees, fresh air, colorful flowers and clean water but also for its historical culture. It is the battlefield of a famous battle - Feishui Battle, the typical battle of defeating the many with the few in ancient China. The entrance fee of Bagong Mountain is CNY15.00 per person.
