Day 01: Arrival in Chongqing
Arrive in Chongqing and get prepared. Stay overnight at the local hotel.


Day 02: Chongqing - Fengjie
Depart for Fengjie by Yangtze Hydrofoil ferry. Visit a Migrant settlement in Fengjie County, getting the first impression of the Three Gorges area in the afternoon.


Day 03: Fengjie - Baidicheng - Fengjie - Wushan
Visit the Baidicheng and the Museum of Elephant Fossils by ferry. Then trek on an ancient trestle path in Qutang Gorge, and walk toward Peach Mountain. You have chance to view the overwhelming landscape of Kuimen and Qutang Gorge. Trek downward through byway. Arrive at Caotang River bank by canoe at Cha pan, and then take bus back to Fengjie County. Take Yangtze Hydrofoil ferry to Wushan at 16:30.


Day 04: Wushan - Fairy Stream - Wushan
Take a boat to Fairy Stream, descending to the sightseeing stand through cragged path; viewing the three peaks out of the Fairy Twelve Peaks - Shangsheng, Qiyun and Jingtan peaks - those could not be watched from boat; same way back to the ship for going upstream to the Greenstone Signal Terrace; trekking about 3 km along the north bank of the Yangtze; standing on the path 50 to 80 meters above the river surface and viewing the famed Goddess Peak, Scissors Peak and other wonders at the south bank of Yangtze. Take ferry back to Wushan.


Day 05: Wushan - Maoping
Take a sampan cruise to the Lesser Three Gorges and Mini-Lesser Gorges along a Yangtze tributary - The Daning River. Leave Wushan for Maoping by hydrofoil at 16:30 and arrive at Maoping at 18:30. Transfer to the hotel.


Day 06: Maoping - Guilin - Maoping
Drive to Guilin Village at the mouth Xiling Gorge. Hike to sightseeing stand; climb the Chain Cliff (this path was widened to 1.5 meters in width in 1995; there is rail over the cliff side, when you stand beside the rail, high wind blows your face; all picturesque sceneries will fall into your eyeshot. This is really the best place to view the Xiling Gorge). Back to Maoping by bus and visit the largest dam in the world - the Three Gorges Dam.


Day 07: Maoping - Yichang & Departure
Head to Yichang. Leave Yichang according to your Schedule.
