URGENT: A question regards to non-criminal record
Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a citizen of KZ, applying for a work visa here in China. I have to submit a non-criminal record in order to get the visa. Will it be possible to apply for it from Beijing? And what is the duration of the procedure? How long it takes to get it?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks in advance.

If you live in Beijing recently, you can ask for the non-criminal record from the police station.

I do not quite understand. Are you saying that all the foreigners can get a non-criminal record from the regular police stations in here? If yes, could you please describe the process?
Anyways, I was told that I should issue it in Kazakh embassy in Beijing. Please get back to me when you will have specific information on it.

Thanks.

Based on what I know, foreign can get a non-criminal record from the regular police station to where his living area belongs to and he also should live there for the past one year or a long time.
Or you can call the embassy directly to ask if they can issue a non-criminal record to you. Tel: 010-65324189/ 65326182/ 65324779.

Alan, it's possible for you to get it in China.
You should first prepare the relevant documents including your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, photocopy of your passport and ID card, residence permit in China, an introduction letter, copy of your business license, as well as other documents required by the consular officers. Next, submit the application to the embassy in Beijing.
