Visa Fees

1.Nationals of the People's Republic of China can get a visa free of charge. However, Chinese citizens holding the passports of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Marco should pay RMB 255 for a sing-entry visa, RMB 680 for a multiple entry visa.
2.Citizens of other countries pay the same fees as people of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Marco.
3.For Nationals of the SAARC countries and children below10 ages are also free of charge.

In mainland China, children under the age of 16 years are eligible to apply for a Chinese passport. I am not sure about the regulations on Hong Kong visas. This page has the information about the application precedures for Hong Kong people who are above the age of 16, but it doesn't mention those who are under the age of 16.

You should get an unmarried status affidavitt issued by a notary public and attested by your country's foreign ministry and Chinese embassy.
Provide with your health certificate and your ID. passport. Then registered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs of P.R.C.
