Damith, you need to prepare all the required documents including passport and its copy, a completed application form attached with a passport-style photo, invitation letter, travel itinerary, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation. Maybe your study certificate is also needed if you are students. There is no specific requirement for how much you should have in your bank account, but you need to make sure that you have enough travel fees to cover your expenditure. It may cost 3000 rupees per person if you submit the application to the China embassy. It usually takes four working days for the processing.

Dear, I’m afraid you cannot get it done within a day. The actual processing time is subject to that given by the consular officers.
You may need to provide your passport and its copy, residence permit in China, the application form, and passport-style photos, personal statement as well as other documents required by the consular officers.
