1. I will apply China Visa from China Embassy in KL.
2. I fly from KL to Hanoi, and from there I fly to Kunming as they have direct and affordable ticket between Hanoi and Kunming
3. After the trip to China, I return to Hanoi
Kindly advise whether that is possible, and what are the documents I need to provide at Embassy in KL? Do I need to provide my flight ticket as well?
My concern is: can I aply for China visa from one country (Malaysia), and flight to China from another country (Vietnam)

1. You should apply for the visa in Vietnam.
2. You should prepare the following documents for China L tourist visa application in Hanoi:
1. Your valid passport with blank pages and at least 6 months validity left before expiration.
2. A truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-sized photo.
3. Round-trip air ticket
4. Hotel reservation in Kunming, China.
