Just correcting I live in USA not afganistan
I am currently in israel but an american citizen. Can I get a visa in israel for china?
Since I will only be here for 5 weeks and my flight is in mid April is it better to do the visa in israel or in ny?
One more thing which office do I go to make the visa? Do I need an appointment? What do I need to bring?

Jan. 31,2010 01:31
Mr.Peter replied:

Ms. ELY1, you'd better apply for Chinese visa in New York, you will fly to China in mid April, if you apply for Chinese visa in New York in February, the single entry visa valid for 3 months, it is still valid when you go to China. In Israel, you can apply for Chinese visa at Consular Office of Chinese Embassy in Israel, the appointment is not required, please take your original passport, one completed visa application form affixed with one passport photo

I have a visa to China which expired on 13 January 2010. I need to renew my visa, because I am expecting to visit China very soon for business purposes. Do I go through the regular application process, or is there a special process for renewals?

Jan. 21,2010 04:50
Mr.Adam replied:

You can renew your Chinese visa, you have to apply for a Chinese busines visa in Israel. All visas come into force from the dates of issuance. The visa can't be made any cahnges once it is issued except that the visa offcers made mistake.

Dear Sir/Madam
This week I received a visa for visiting china on my Israeli passport. The visa is valid from Oct 19th, 2009 until Jan 19, 2010. My passport is valid until April 30th, 2010. I plan to travel on Oct 15th, 2009 for a short 10 day tour. My passport upon entry to China will be valid for 5.5 months. Should I expect any problems as for the validity of my passport?

Avirama Weinreb

Mr.Anthony replied:

I think there won't be any problem.

Mr.Shaya(London) replied:

Dear Mr.Lee,
First I want to thank for your reply.Actually I do not held a British passport. So how can I stay more than 90 days in Hong Kong?On the other hand,if I want to visit Chine multiple times, can I apply for a multi-entry visa, though it is my first visit to China and Hong Kong.
Lastly, do I need to fill the application form by computer format or by hand written format?

Thanks and Regards,
Shaya Levy

Oct. 27,2009 20:36
Mrs.Amanda replied:

Mr.Shaya, if you are not british, May I Know your nationality, please?
If it is your first time to China, it will be difficult for you to get a multiple entry China visa.
I think you should fill the form by omputer.

Mr.Lee replied:

1. British passpot holders are exempt from visa to Hk for 180 days.
2. I think you need to apply for a China visa.
3. If you will just stay within the airport for less than 24 hours when passing by Beijing, then no visa will ne needed.
