My bos and family planning visit China on 1st Dec 2009. My bos only have the APEC Card (Asia Pacific Economy Cooperation) Business Travel Card. The family member have been apply the Visa Card

my Question is:
1) My bos need to apply the VISA card or not? or
2) can use the APEC Card to Visit China ?

Nov. 16,2009 03:53
Ms.Lilian(China) replied:

APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC). The ABTC allows business travelers pre-cleared, facilitated short-term entry to participating member economies. The ABTC removes the need to individually apply for visas or entry permits, saving valuable time, and allows multiple entries into participating economies during the three years the card is valid. So your boss doesn't need apply for the visa.

Hi,

I am Hong from Malaysia. Currently i am holding L visa with 6 months mnultiple entry with 30 days. My husband is holding F visa for half year time. I would like to get a china visa which can stay up to 90 days. What can i do ?

Nov. 14,2009 04:30
Mr.Hunter¡¡ replied:

Where are you now?

Nov. 14,2009 05:14
Ms.Hong(Malaysia) replied:

I am recently stay in China.

Nov. 15,2009 00:39
Mrs.Lena replied:

Ms. Hong, as far as I know, there are two options for you, first, when the 30 days stay duration is up, you exit China (go to Hong Kong or Macau) and then go back to China, you can stay for another 30 days, then you can exit again and reenter China for another 30 days. The other option is that you can go to the local public security office to apply for extension before the 30 days stay duration is up.

Nov. 15,2009 22:51
Ms.Hong(Malaysia) replied:

Thank you Mrs Lena. For the option 1, yes i did it for the last few months. For option 2, the staff have answer that they cant change the duration from 30 days to 90 days, but only can extend another month of visa after expiry of my visa.

Anyway, thanks for advice.

Hi, I'm Malaysian going to Hangzhou for a vacation on 2nd Jan 2010, and from Hangzhou, I will be traveling maybe to Shanghai and later Hengdian, the thing is, its more like a spontaneous trip depending on which city may attract me later, I may take domestic flight within China / perhaps just normal road transport, what kind of visa do I need? Will I have trouble taking domestic flights with the visa recommended?

Nov. 15,2009 21:33
Mr.John Nash(USA) replied:

You need a tourist visa for the trip in China. You can write all places you may go on the visa application form, the places will not be shown on your visa, you don't need to worry about it, if you can get a Chinese visa, you only go to everywhere within Mainland China (you need an entry permit from Tibet Tourism Bureau if you will go to Tibet before your visa application)

My friend went to China with a valid Visa approved by China Embassy in KL recently. However when she reached Beijing, she was refused entry and was asked to return immediately on the next flight. She has gone to China Embassy in KL to enquire about her status, but no one was able to help her. May I know if anyone can provide any info in such cases? When would the refusal be lifted and she can enter China again? Thank you

I just applied a type L multi-entry visa with 6-month validity. The longest duration to stay in China is 30 days. Here are the questions:
1)How many time can I enter China within this 30 days?
2)If my meeting with customer haven't done within 30 days, should I need to leave China compulsory?
3)Can I re-enter China after permissible period (30 days) without applying a new visa?
4)Can I re-enter China after I left China for fews days or few hours with the current visa?

Nov. 8,2009 04:24
Mr.John Nash(USA) replied:

1. I think the 30 days is stay duration of each entry. You can enter China for countless times within the 6 months and stay in China for 30 days each time.
2. If you stay in China for 30 days each time, you must exit China compulsory.
3. yes, you can re-enter China after permissible period with this visa withour applying for a new one.
4. yes, you can re-enter China even though you exit China and turn your head to enter again.

Nov. 8,2009 09:43
Mr.APAULT(China) replied:

If you apply in Australia you should get a 6 month multiple entry L visa, 60 days per entry. I recently obtained a 12 month one. The 30 day limitation is often imposed when you apply within China (mainland. Various restrictions may be imposed when youn apply in another country.

If you have a multiple entry visa you can re-enter as many tiomes as you like, each for the duration you have been granted, 30 days, 60 days or whatever. there is no minimum time that you must be out of China, I have just walked back in as soon as I was admitted into Macau.

Basically, you can only apply for one new visa (often erroneously called an extension) within China (qand as we just said that is normally for a max of 1 month. However if you seek a second one you will usually be given 7 days only.

Agents thrive on telling you how hard it is to get a visa. On the other hand the genuine ones do have contacts and can get better visas than you might get yourself. The fee in Australia varies around $100 depending on duration. The fee on the mainland should be around 200 rmb.

Nov. 8,2009 09:49
Mr.APAULT(China) replied:

Correcvtion to my previous reply.....

Sorry I mixed up this query with another that specvified Australian. Please ignore my iniitial comments... the rest are valid.

Hi,
I'm from KL. I'm going to visit Macau, ShenZhen and Hong Kong by this coming December.
I'll be going from KL to Macau, then from Macau to ShenZhen and from Shenzhen to HK, and last back to KL from HK.
KL - Macau - ShenZhen - HK - KL.
I'm wondering, should i apply a single entry of Visa to enter Shenzhen from Macau only? Or do i need to apply another visa to enter HK as well?

Thank you.

What is the different between Multiple Entries Visa for 6 Months and Double Entries Visa for 6 months? If let say we have visit China twice this year on Business Visa, is the requirement enough to apply for 12 months Multiple Entry Visa? Tq!

Nov. 3,2009 22:03
Mr.Rich replied:

As far as I know, the validity for a double entyry visa should be 3 months not 6 months.
I think you can apply for a 12 months multiple entry visa, but it finally depends on the China embassy.
