DEAR SIR,

FOR A PERSON WHO VISITS CHINA FOR THE FIRST TIME, HOW LONG IT WILL AKE TO GET VISA.
IS THERE ANY DOCUMENTS TO GET APPROVED FROM CHINA NAMED "RED SEAL DOCUMENT"

I HAVE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS WITH ME, PLS ADVISE IF I NEED MORE DOCUMENTS THAN FOLLOWING.
1)INVITATION LETTER FROM VISITOR FACTORY.
2) VALID PASSPORT / PHOTOS
3) BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS
4) COMPLETED VISA APPLICATION FORM

I NEED TO VIST TAIWAN TOO, SO I WILL HAVE TO ENTER HONG KONG THREE TIMES,
PLS ADVISE IF I CAN GET ENTRY VISA AT THE SAME TIME, ( HAVE TO DROP IN HK FOR APPLYING TAIWAN VISA AND GO TO CHINA, RETUN TO HK CHOP THE PASSPORT AND GO TO TAIWAN, RETURN TO HK TO COME TO SRI LANKA BACK )

Nov. 2,2009 22:35
Mr.Hiram replied:

A normal visa application process takes 4 working days.
I think the red seal document refers to the visa notice form from suthorized Chines units.
Besides the documents you have, you alo have to ask your cooperated partner in China to apply for a visa notice form for you.
If you will enter Hk there times, you can apply for a multiple entry Hk visa.

Mr Neal, thanks for the information. Perhaps this is not your field, but I will ask anyway, hope you don't mind. Do we have to show that we have a return tickets. For example, we do not know whether we will be in China for 3 or 4 weeks, we have only booked one way tickets there so far. Whilst in China we will book a return tickets to leave China.
