A normal visa application process takes 4 working days. I think the red seal document refers to the visa notice form from suthorized Chines units. Besides the documents you have, you alo have to ask your cooperated partner in China to apply for a visa notice form for you. If you will enter Hk there times, you can apply for a multiple entry Hk visa.

The medical test is necessary if you will stay in China for over 6 months. You have to get the authorized hospitals from the China embassy in Sri Lanka directly. Both the medical test and the JW202 form are necessary. The Police clearance will also be required.

The medical test is necessary if you will stay in China for over 6 months. You have to get the authorized hospitals from the China embassy in Sri Lanka directly.
Both the medical test and the JW202 form are necessary.
The Police clearance will also be required.

For example, we do not know whether we will be in China for 3 or 4 weeks, we have only booked one way tickets there so far. Whilst in China we will book a return tickets to leave China.

The embassy issuing the visa for you have the final say to this, but I think the return tickets will be required.

Thank you for the information. As we are not sure if we are going to spend 3 or 4 weeks in China Do you know if we have to have a return ticket. For example we have book a one way flight in January and then book a return flight out of China whilst there.

We are British citizens but live and are residents in Spain. We plan a trip to China in January. As we are in Sri Lanka for 2 weeks before we go to China, are we able to obtain a visa from there. I know we could get one from Madrid, but it is a long way from where we live and I understand that you cannot post your application. Thank you
