Hello

I am a Russian citizen with a Spanish residency, living in Malaga. Id like to get a tourist Chinese visa, can you please recommend a travel agency in Malaga or Marbella. Or can I send all required documents by mail, if yes, which address do I send them to?

Sep. 14,2009 20:48
Mr.Steve replied:

The China in Madrid and the Consulate-General of China in Barcelona both don't accept by post or all kind of express delivery, you have to entrust relatives or travel agencies to submit applications and pick up visas on your behalf.
As for the authorized travel agencies, please contact the Consular Office of the embassy directly.

We are visting China on a Cruise ship in October. We have British passports but are Spanish residents living in Lanzarote ( Canary Islands) We have no contacts in Madrid and the flight there is expensive and over 2 hours. Is it not possible to arrange by post or could I apply through Britain? Thank you so much for any advice received

Aug. 24,2009 20:06
Mr.Dale replied:

You mean the visa for your China Cruise trip? You are British passport holders, you should apply for the visa in Britain.

we are going for a holliday to china and india, the ticket we have is September 19 London Shanghai and return december 12 from Hong Kong to London (we will fly from Malaga to London with easy jet)
However we will leave China from Kunming Yunnan going to Kolkata India (not booked yet and will leave this to the last minute)we may change our return ticket from Hong Kong to New Delhi (depending were we are in India in december)
With this above are we going to nhave a problem with visa application? (we only have booked the first week hotel in Shanghai)

Jun. 17,2009 21:08
Mr.Simon replied:

So you can apply for the visa to Shanghai China firstly. As for your trips to Indian, you could apply for the visa from the Indian embassy in China.

Mr.brasser(Spain) replied:

thanks mr Simon but that was not the point or the question, we will have the visa done in Madrid, the point is and was that we have no return ticket from China

Jun. 19,2009 22:31

Then you have the return tickets from HK to London, right? Just use it when applying the Chian visa.
