Nin hao to everyone! I was formerly an ESL Teacher in China. I just want to inquire regarding a police clearance/police certificate that I got from SHANGHAI NOTARY PUBLIC OFFICE dated April 11,2008. How long does it expire? I will be having an interview on September 9, 2009 in the US Embassy Manila, Philippines, I'm just wondering, does the embassy consider my police clearance valid until my interview date? Do I need to renew it?If not, what will be the steps on how to obtain it ? Pls do reply. Your help will be highly appreciated.

2. A truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-sized photo.
3. Round-trip air ticketand Hotel reservation. 4. His bank statement in the recent three months. As for the invitation letter, you can write one for him enclosed with your address, name and valid contacts.

Well,for individuals' family visit, I don't think you will get an invitation letter authenticated by the exit-etry admission bureau. Probably, you can get the invitation letter with your school's official seal stamped on.

You should go to the nearest police station to your domicile to get a police clearance report. Yo need to apply for your visa in person. The embassy does not accept mail application.
