I work in Saudi Arabia and am a U.S. citizen. Can I get a one time Visa to visit Beijing? Where in Riyadh can I get a Visa for China.

Mr.Dennis replied:

You can aquire a visa for China in Saudi. If your visit is for sightseeing, you'd better contact a travel agency to join a tour group. The embassy's site states that individual tourist application is not acceptable.

Mr.Cloward(USA) replied:

The person I plan to visit in China is a Chinese citizen. She lives in Chong Qing. Is there a way I can obtain a Visa to visit her? We plan to travel to Bejing for three days, but will stay in Chong Qing the rest of the time while in China.

Hello,

My brother would like to visit me in China. He is arriving in Hong Kong in about 4 days and would then try to apply for a Chinese visa in Hong Kong.

As he is from South Africa and has an South African passport I would like to know if he would be able to apply for a visa in Hong Kong or not? I have read a few things saying that he would not be able to as South Africa is on the 33 banned countries lost. Is this true or has the list Changed?

Regards,
Herman

Jun. 21,2009 01:07
Mr.Bruntus replied:

If your brother have enough time to apply for Chinese visa before leaving South Africa, it is better for him to apply for the visa there because it is generally not easy for citizens from African countries to get Chinese visa outside their home countries.

Jun. 22,2009 03:44
Mr.Herman(South Africa) replied:

I know, but he is allready on his way to Hong Kong. Sailing there. So do you think he will be able to apply? or nor?

Jun. 22,2009 20:09
Mr.Herman(South Africa) replied:

Yes, he can process the visa to China in Hongkong in principle. However, it depends on the HK SAR.

Mr.Mohd Ajmal, please read the webpage about How to Apply Business Visa http://www.chinaembassy.org.sa/eng/hzhqz/t424015.htm Then you will know that if you can get the Original Visa Notice Sheet from an authorized Chinese governmental apparatus /organization, prescribing the visa validity, number of entries and stay period. The Visa Notice Sheet prescribe multiple entries in a year, then you can get a MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA VALID FOR I YEAR. In additiona, you'd better provide the copy of former China visa on your passport.
