 Brief Intro
The Republic of Senegal is located in the west end of the projecting part in western Africa, lying in the south edge of Sahara. It has tropical savanna climate. The weather is mild in the coast area and torrid in the hinterland. July to October is the rainy season. The capital is the transportation hub of western Africa, having dozens of flights to some 20 countries in Europe, America and other region in Africa. Island of Gore which is about 2.5 kilometers east of Dakar was once the gathering point of Africa slave trade. It has been listed in world's cultural heritage. Sain Louis is also a famous historical city. June to September is the high season to travel Senegal.

 Notices for Chinese Going to Senegal
1. Due to the incapability of visa through Senegal's embassy in China, Chinese should apply for visa through partners in Senegal. Usually the process takes a long time for complicated formalities.

2. Passport, valid visa, entry permit, disembarkation card and International Certificate of Vaccination should be shown when enter the country. Foreign exchange control is applied in Senegal. Without the approval of Senegal Custom, foreign exchange more than 3,000 USD is not allowed to bring out of the country.
