Important Notice for Application at CVASC

Requirements for Application

1. Original passport valid for more than 6 months with sufficient blank pages, and a copy of its information page and previous L (if any) on an A-4 paper.
2. One completed Application Form with a recent color photo glued or stapled on.
3. Original Invitation Letter from the PRC (a company or an individual), Travel Itinerary, a Personal Written Statement (with details: a. places of visit in the PRC b. name, address and contact number of the company or person in the PRC; c. name and contact number of the applicant's company or office in India)
4. If the applicant can not provide an Invitation Letter from the PRC, they can provide following documents instead:
a. A travel itinerary
b. The copy of Confirmed return flight ticket and hotel reservation.
c. Personal Written Statement or Covering Letter (with details: places of visit in the PRC; name, address and contact number of the inviting company or individual).
d. Certification Letter from the applicant's company or office in India (with details: name, contact number of their company or office, their income statement or recent 6 months Bank Statement).
5. For applicants who have been issued tourist L before, they should also include reasons for revisit, the places they visited last time and the places they will visit this time in the personal written statement.
6. For family visit purpose, the original and copy of the Kinship Certificate (the Birth Certificate or the Marriage Certificate), invitation letter and a Personal Written Statement (with details: destination; name, address and contact number of relative in the PRC) are required.
7. Other documents required by the Embassy or Consulate-General.
1. Original passport valid for more than 6 months with sufficient blank pages, and a copy of its information page and previous F (if any) on an A-4 paper.
2. One completed Application Form with a recent color photo glued or stapled on.
3. "Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit" or "Confirmation Letter of Invitation" or relevant formal business documents such as Conference Notice, Invitation of Trade Fair, or Business License of Foreign-invested Enterprises in the PRC with the applicant's name on.
4. Personal Written Statement or Covering Letter (with details: places of visit in the PRC; name, address and contact number of the inviting company or individual).
5. In addition to the above-mentioned documents, applicants applying for short-term study should also provide:
a. Admission Notice (original and copy);
b. Application for Study in the PRC (Form JW-201/JW-202, original and copy, which indicates the period of study being less than 6 months).
1. Original passport which has more than 18 months left before it expires from the date of application and sufficient blank pages.
2. One completed Application Form with a recent color photo glued or stapled on; and Supplementary Application Form.
3. Original and a copy of Admission Notice (original and copy) .
4. Original and a copy of Application Form for Study (JW201 or JW202)
5. Original and a copy of Physical Examination Record for Foreigner issued by doctors from an Indian state hospital.
6. Personal Written Statement or Covering Letter (with details: places of visit; name, address and contact number of the inviting university or individual).
1. Original passport which has more than 6 months left before it expires from the date of application and sufficient blank pages (18 months and more left if intended stay is more than one year).
2. One completed Application Form with a recent color photo glued or stapled on; and Supplementary Application Form.
3. Invitation Letter issued by a duly authorized Chinese unit.
4. Original and copy of one of the following documents:
a. Alien Employment License (Work Permit) issued by the Ministry of Human Resources & Social Security of the PRC;
b. Confirmation Letter for Foreign Experts (Foreign Experts Certificate) issued by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of the PRC;
c. Invitation Letter for Foreigners for Offshore Petroleum Operations issued by China National Offshore Oil Corporation;
d. Registration Certificate for Permanent Representative Committee issued by the local Administration for Industry an Commerce;
e. Temporary Commercial Entertainment Performance Permit issued by the Ministry of Culture of the PRC.
5. Original and copy of Diploma.
6. Physical Examination Record for Foreigner issued by doctors from an Indian state hospital.
7. Personal Written Statement or Covering Letter (with details: places of visit; name, address and contact number of the inviting university or individual).
8. Accompanying family dependents of personnel should provide Invitation Letter issued by an authorized Chinese institute, and original and copy of the Kinship Certificate (Birth Certificate or Marriage Certificate).
Transit Visa (G)
1. Original passport valid for more than 6 months with sufficient blank pages, and a copy of its information page.
2. One completed Application Form with a recent color photo glued or stapled on.
3. Valid visa and flight ticket to the country of destination.
4. Other documents required by the Embassy or Consulate-General.
