Jul. 26,2009 21:54
Mr.yina(cn) replied:

Yes, A lof of people have dual nationality. But in rule, it is not allowed. China now has paid more attention on this issue and related regulations has made to prevent this phonomoneon. If the goverment discover that you have dual nationality, you will be fined. Actually, if you do not use the Chinese nationality any more, you may not be discoverd, but if you want to use it to enter China, most probably you will be discovered.

Thank again Mr.Yina. Now all family member knew about this. He always play the games between us ( me and his wife ) never telling a truth. He tried to get them to come to Australia one by one. Now his daugther ( 16 old ) become a permanent resident Australia. I don't know what should i do with my 2 kids. Promised only promised. He not fulfill a promise I waiting for his promise more than 10 years until now he got his Austalian citezen. Please tell what should i do ?? Thank you

Aug. 1,2009 21:12
Mr.yina(cn) replied:

Hi, i am really sorry to hear that. I do not think he is the man worth your love. See now, he is an australia citizen and he makes his daugther an australia citizen too, you should know that he does not love you actually, he just want to make use of you. Just imagine that he will soon get his wife to australia, what can you do?
Do not believer him any more, i can tell that he is not a good man. He has no resposibility at all. I think it is you but not him who should take him into court. Iknow you may worry about that you will break with him in this way and your children will have no dad then. But believe me, this is the best way for you. Or, you will be more regret, and if your children know that his dad is such a person, they will not forgive him either. Wish you happy
YINA

Mr.M(Australia) replied:

Are you an Australian citizen. If he has lived with you in order to claim Australian citizenship, but not married you, then you should report him to Australian immigration authorities. It sounds as if he has used you to get Australian citizenship for himself so he can bring his other family to Australia. This is not really legal. He has duped the system. If you inform Australian immigration that you feel he has lied to you in order to gain citizenship for himself and his family, they can take action. What he's doing is both immoral and illegal.

Mr.Gow(United Kingdom) replied:

Hi,

I recently married my Chinese wife and we are both going to live in Suzhou, after my wife completed her PhD in the UK. As your wife is a Chinese citizen, you can do the following. Apply for a tourist 'L' visa as normal. You will be given a one month tourist visa. Then, when you get to China, you can go to the Public Security Bureau of the city where your wife is from. Present your passport, tourist visa and translations and original of marriage certificate. You will then be given a 1 year multi entry tourist visa. This does NOT allow you to work in China and you do not qualify for residency. You'll have to renew this every year, but its no problem to do that.

Thank you ms Yina. Before i did't know that he had a wife child. We living together since 1997 in Australia until now he still promised to married w/me!Now he is an Australian.A law still apply to him?? How i report that. Please give advice Thank you so much.( So i only de facto w/him )I can't register my married because he got legal married with his wife in China.

Jul. 30,2009 01:11
Mr.yina(cn) replied:

The law is still apply to him, as he did not divorce with his Chinese wife. He can try to divorce with his chinese wife, then it is legal to marry with you. Actually, i think it is kind of cheat that he never tell you he has marriage before your marriage. Can i ask what does the wife in china think? What's her opnion, if she did not love him any more, the best way is that he gives her amount of money as a fee for raising the child. But if she did not agree, the issue may be taken into court. It is his fault definitely.

I have de facto husband from china nationality and i got 2 children from him. And him ( my de facto ) had a wife and child in China. So is he break the rule (law)??? but we are living in Australia.

Jul. 29,2009 20:57
Mr.yina(cn) replied:

Hi, dear, do you love him deeply, do you know that he has married beore you marry? Actually, he break the law, but if her wife does not complain to the chinese goverment, he may not be punished. He is still a chinese citizen now, right? But if his wife in China takes him into the court, he might have trouble with this. Does his wife know that he get married with you?
By the way, if he is a Chinese citizen, the Chinese goverment has the right to punish him, whereever he lived or whoever he married.

I Australian Citezen and also china citezen . do you think i break the rule and will get penalty???How serious my penalty from china Goverment??

Jul. 25,2009 21:19
Mr.cinly(cn) replied:

Hi, buddy, you are so cute. Actually, china did not recognize dual nationality. So if you have been an australian citezen, you are not a chinese citizen any more. That means that once you get the citizenship of another country, your chinese citizenship will be abandoned automatically. So, you are not a chinese now and you will not get any penalty from chinese goverment.

Do you have a visa, if not ,you should apply for a visa at once. I think you should read this website carefully, it will help you a lot. It includes a lot of information such as the attractions and transportation of Chinese cities, as well as how to apply a visa, what do you need to prepare before going to China? It helps me a lot for my beijing trip. China is so beatiful, you can go to beijing, xian. These are all charming places. I will visit china again if i have time, i love beijing!

How long does it take to apply for permanent residency for a child under the grounds that the child is "unmarried child aged under 18 years old who come to China to live with her Chinese parent"? If the child is a US citizen and already in China with her Chinese parent, does the minor child have to go back to the US while the application for permanent residency in China is in progress? I will appreciate your answers. Thank you.

Jun. 27,2009 21:47
Mr.yina(cn) replied:

The procedure is complex, and it may take 6 month to get one.

Hi, you can see this website to see if you meet the requirements. If you meet the requirements, you can apply a permit successfully. http://www.chinaembassy-fi.org/eng/lsfw/t415689.htm
But, to be honest, it is nearly impossible to have a chinese green card.
