"Thank you for requesting feedback. Its great to know you want to make sure we enjoyed our trip. We really did have a great time. The itinerary was perfect. A good balance between the cities you recommended to us. The only extra item we added while there was to see the Dragon Temple in Kunming. Our guide said that foreign visitors all were interested in it (and we loved it) but that Chinese visitors werent as interested. The guides were all excellent and the travel very easy thanks to the arrangements you made for us.
The only thing we really would want changed next time we travel with you is the accommodation. In each of the cities we visited there were smaller, cheaper hotels available. In Kunming and Dali there were plenty of older style traditional hotels that would have been more interesting, in better locations and cheaper. I believe you placed us in large tourist hotels that you thought foreigners would like (with American breakfasts). We would much prefer smaller hotels where independent travelers stay.
Breakfasts arent as important as we can easily find something on the street."

"I just returned from my trip to Asia, the first couple weeks in China and the last two weeks in the Philippines. My 11-day tour of Beijing/Lhasa/Shigatse/Gyangtse/ Tsetang was excellent and I have no complaints. I particularly want to thank my guide and driver in Tibet--they were knowledgeable, courteous and professional. My only suggestion is to add/or offer a hike to the old fort in Gyangtse (I realize its am ambitious hike at that altitude but an oltimer (age 57) like me made it and many others might enjoy the hike and the view). It wasnt in my guidebook nor on the itinerary but my guide was agreeable to make the climb since we had time. Thanks again for a well-organized tour of Tibets four largest cities.
When I complemented my guide and driver on their fine performance, professionalism and courtesy, I forgot to mention their names: Wangchuk and Do Ji."

"It was all very well organised. My guide , Holi, and the driver , Mr Wu, were very very good.I can offer no suggestions on improvements other than to say that coming from Europe we find China very cheap as do so many other travellers that we met on the holiday. In this regard we would gladly have paid more for a bigger or smarter room on the East King. I did anyway take room 2002 which was the presidential suite. I understand the ship had just two rooms of that size. I also understand that even the famous and weathy Bill Gates travellerd on the ship, so he no doubt stayed in a room the same as I had.
Please understand that I found the ship to be great and I am pleased that I did the tour. My point is that from a constructive perspective you should know that tourists from Europe and America would pay more for even higher quality accomodation."
