Thank you for arranging such a wonderful tour!!! Everything went really well during our trip and we wanted to thank you for making all the excellent arrangements.

We wanted to especially mention our guide in Beijing. He was very knowledgeable and really made sure everything was done exactly as it had been arranged and also made suggestions and arrangements so that we would not miss out on anything. We recommend that you use him in the future.

Actually I just tried to email him but the email was returned by sina.com as undeliverable. If you are in touch with him, please ask him to email me so that I can write to him. We purchased a porcelain wall placque at the official store in the Forbidden City which was to have been shipped with a certificate of authenticity. We received the porcelain this week and it arrived in good condition but the certificate was not in the box. He had said that he would follow up on any problems with this purchase and Im sure he will once he knows of the problem.

The river cruise on the China Regal was excellent and we highly recommend it. The staff was very accomodating and Fred the river guide was excellent. All arrangements for the side trips were expertly handled as well. The food was diverse and well prepared and the nightly entertainment was first class. To top it off, we happened to be will a really great group of tourists who interacted well with each other and were really a lot of fun. All-in-all .... excellent!

The only slight problems or changes made to our arrangements were necessitated by the lower water level on the Yangtze which was very understandable and we had been alerted to that possibility prior to the trip so we were not surprised when it happened. The ship was not able to travel to Chongqing and thus, we were transported by bus to Fengdu. This was not a problem except we would have preferred to have foregone the extra time in Chongqing and arrived on the ship in the daylight so that we could have seen the area we were traveling in. The guide in Chongqing tried to fill the extra time for us while arrangements were being made for the bus transport, but we do wish we had been given a choice on what there was to see. What we did see was interesting but if we had known there was a zoo in Chongqing where they do special work with the pandas, we would have opted to go to the zoo.

The other change was in Wuhan. Due to the late arrival of the ship, we had to go immediately to the airport for our flight so it was a small disappointment that we could not do the Wuhan tour but again very understandable due to the river level and river traffic. I think the guide was disappointed for us as well but he did do a good job of getting us to the airport and helping us to check in and was most thorough in his job.

Overall we had a wonderful trip and we thank you for doing such a great job in arranging our tour and in being flexible to accommodate our time schedule. The trip far exceeded our expectations and is one we will remember for the rest of our lives. We will recommend your group and have already recommended Travel China Guide to our son and his business associates in Shanghai.
