Hi Grace!I wanted to take a moment to let you know we returned home safely and had a wonderful trip thanks to you and your company. It was really great getting to meet you in Xi'an. I'm going to be working on the photographs I took (over 3000!) and as soon as I have them posted, I will invite you to look them over and I'll be happy to let you select any that you may wish to use. I will also write up a recommendation and a synopsis of our trip and in the meantime, please don't hesitate to give out my email address and don't hesitate to use me as a reference. Everything (discounting some bad weather on the Yangtze!!) was absolutely perfect!
Thank you again so much for a great trip!!

Thank you for a truly amazing experience! We loved China and enjoyed all our stops!
Beijing
Janet was our appointed guide and she was very friendly and extremely helpful. She spoke a beautiful English and she was always happy. She even taught us how to count in Chinese :)
The restaurants we went to served wonderful food and we quickly learned to use the chopsticks!
Beijing was a highlight, and we will recommend it to everyone!
Xian
More pictures from our trip. The train from Beijing to Xian was wonderful. Grace was our appointed guide in Xian and she was helpful but definitely not on par with Janet. She seemed a bit less enthusiastic but tried.
The Western food was not a success - but all the other meals were delicious.
Chengdu
The initial disappointment of sharing a compartment on the train to Chengdu with a strange person turned into quite a fiasco - it happened to be an elderly gentleman that could not understand any of us!!! We fortunately got one of the conductors on the train to understand our predicament of sharing a room through the night with a strange man - it is not done in our culture :) She sold us another ticket and found a friendlier place for the gentleman to stay. The rest of the train trip was good!
We were met by Jahrva ( Im not sure how to spell her name!) at the station and she took us to the hotel. Such a wonderful girl! She was extremely helpful and friendly and sweet! She was very enthusiastic about everything she told us about and we had fun with her.....
Shanghai
Gu Jie met us at the airport and she was also very good. She was kind enough to let us shop a bit and we gave her a letter to say that we will miss the museum but need to go the market!! Otherwise our children would be very upset if we dont bring some presents back!
Thank you again
Annalie
