Dear Michael,

Our two days tour of Chengdu was an excellent start to our time in China and we were very pleased with our guide and driver and the hotel where we stayed.

We found the tour company very keen to please and take us where we wanted to go when we wanted to go there. We were able to chose our itinerary from several recommended places before we arrived in Chengdu and also to change these arrangements when the friend we planned to meet there could not keep to the original plans.

Our guide, Susan, was very pleasant and informative and also keen to learn how we live in the UK. This exchange of information about our different lifestyles added to our appreciation of China and the Chinese people.

Our driver, Mr Sam, spoke no english but always acknowledged us and was very cheerful. Susan's english was excellent and we thought that we were very lucky to have these two people to take us around Chengdu.

The food we ate was delicious, especially stir fried egg and tomatoes and Kung Pao chicken.

I would not hesitate to recommend Travel China Guide although we only used them for two days plus the trips to and from the airport. We found the guide and driver excellent and organising everything before we left the UK was easy. Every aspect of it was better than we could have hoped.

Very informative guide and plenty of places visited. The tours were very well-organized with top-quality guide. Rose truly enhanced tour experience in Beijing! Would use this company again and would recommend them.

It is good to have an intelligent, honest and knowledgeable guided and to tap it off she was mindful of every of our little needs. (And she has a beautiful smile!)

We also appreicate the refrigerated water in the car. We enjoyed the show at the Tang Dynasty Palace.

China has such a wonderfully rich and extraordinary history and geography - seeing the terracotta warriors, however, was one of the most memorable moments of our visit although it really is difficult to separate out so many marvellous moments as each region we visited had its own special sights and scenery.
