We enjoyed our tour--it was our first English-speaking tour anywhere, but we had a good time. First of all, the meals were good overall, but we would have preferred to choose our own meals, or maybe have more options (set menus) to choose from at each restaurant. If we could only choose one meal to recommend we would choose the Peking Duck Dinner. It's such a wonderful and unique experience, especially for people who have never had the privilege to taste Peking-style roast duck the way it's meant to be prepared. It was probably the best duck I've ever eaten!

As for the guide, he was really professional. His English was excellent--we were suprised! He was very knowledgeable about each place we toured--we learned a lot about China! David was also very courteous and helpful; he helped us take many pictures.

The van was very clean, comfortable and spacious. We had more than enough room for everything. The driver was adept and experience and also quite polite.

Also, I want to mention that the hotel room was immaculate. It was much better than we expected. I would say that it's actually up-to-par with a five-star hotel. We're very glad we stayed there. It was probably one of the best parts about the tour.
