It was wonderful to meet you (and everyone else affiliated with Trave China Guide) during our trip to China. We are still singing the praises of your company's services to people who ask about our trip. Everyone worries (as I did before I contacted you via your website) that the language barrier, especially the difference in our alphabets that makes it difficult to read street and other important signs, would restrict our enjoyment. Your guides made it all easy, and even helped us learn some of the language. Your drivers were superb. Everyone was professional, capable, and pleasant.

Meals: The food and restaurants selected for us were great. The one meal that sticks out in my head was a fish dish our guide, Christie, ordered for us in the restaurant near the Great Wall. Once we told her how much we liked it, she wrote the name in Chinese so we could order it again.

Guides: We have no complaints in this area. This was a new experience for us since we normally travel on our own. We were concerned that our inability to read and write the language would made this difficult, so we decided to hire guides even though we were sure it would be different to have a third person with us. We were delighted to find out that having a guide did not inhibit our ability to do and see what we wanted. They were all flexible when we wanted to do something different or spend extra time in one area. Christie in Beijing and Sean in Shanghai stand out, but the others were good as well. Everyone's working attitude, communication skills, and knowledge was top knotch. We especially enjoyed their eagerness to learn new English words while they taught us some Chinese.

Cars: The drivers were very skillful at negotiating traffic like we've never seen. Once I understood how the Chinese traffic works (almost like a dance), I sat back and trusted them to get us to our destination safely. It was so wonderful to walk out our door to see our driver waiting with a smile on his face.
