Dear Girls at TravelChinaGuide,Thanks for your email asking us for the comments on the tour. We are pleased to answer all of questions below.
We enjoyed all the meals. The last one was probably the best.
All our guides were good. Sorry, I do not have their names with me. Our guide in Beijing was extremely good. She was the most professional. They were all quite knowledgable about the various places we went. All the guides have no problem with communicating with us.
The cars arranged for our whole trip in very city were very good. Drivers were safe. (I am very fussy about the drivers. These guys were all good.)
Lilin in Beijing was exceptional. She was very relaxed and conversational with us. We felt right at home with her. She was very efficient with the restaurants and other arrangements. She was flexible with our requests and even rearranged the order of events so that when we got to the Great Wall, the weather was better and we were lucky to get some sunshine for photos.
In Xian, our guide was also very good. I have one constructive comment - When seeing the Terra Cotta Warrior, it would be more efficient to see the smaller pits first and then see Pit One last. This would have the effect of building up to the most spectacular pit last. The presentation we had was certainly very good. A change in order would improve it just a little bit.
I would strongly recommend Travel China Guide to anyone who wants a worry free China tour. The entire process, from registration on the web, the payment process and all correspondence was very professionla. The guides, drivers, hotels, food, locations and shows were all top quality.
Jay & Peggy

Dear Irene/Vicky,Sorry for delay in replying to your E mail
In answer to your questions
1.Meals. All meals were good as well as the service. The Sezchuan meal in Beijing was very enjoyable.
2.Guides
a)Marcus in Beijing spoke very good English and certainly knew about the places we visited. We felt the late starts at 9.30 meant we were rather rushed around and longer in each place would have been better- particularly the Summer palace.
b)All guides were very well spoken with good pronunciation.
c)All guides showed good knowledge of the places we visited with so much interesting information it would be nice at times to have it written down so you remeber the stories when you get back home.
3.All cars were clean and tidy, especially the car in Xian. All drivers very courteous and competent.
We would like to compliment you on the complete service that TravelChinaGuide offers, as it is reliable and pick ups at various destinations are always efficient. We would certainly recommend this to friends as it enables you to enjoy China without any worries. All China hotels were good, especially Holiday inn in Beijing.
With reference to the Yangtze cruise - we upgraded to a suite as we felt the standard cabin was small especially after sumptuos rooms in the hotels. Anyway, we did enjoy the cruise.
Best regards Jane & Frank Ball.
