Hello Vicky, thank you again for the wonderful China tour - please give our thanks again to our guides - we greatly enjoyed their insight into your wonderful country and culture, as well as their company - both were very respectful, organized, intelligent and fun to talk with.

I will answer the questions according to how they are listed below - with answers only:

1. Meals - We particularly liked the meal we had in Guilin upon our arrival. The restaurant that Liu Yan brought us to (I think it was called Yuan Fandian) was extremely good, with very fresh ingredients, impressive preparation, and definitely gave us a taste of the cuisine of that area. This would be the meal that we had on the tour that we would suggest. The guides also suggested several great restaurants in the areas we were staying in (as we opted to get our own dinners since we're very much into Chinese cuisine) - all recommendations were phenomenal!

2) Both Hua Raum & Liu Yan were perfect in every way. Very knowledgable about Beijing & Guilin/Yangshou respectively, both EXTREMELY proficient in English, and both courteous beyond our expectations.

3) The cars exceeded our expectations as well - they were always clean, stocked with plenty of water, and the drivers were most courteous drivers, as well as courteous in helping with our bags and always meeting us curbside.

We were very happy with both of our guides - Liu Yan in particular really went above and beyond in biking through the hot day with us and really showing us a side of China that neither of us expected - Hua was also very good with regard to his extensive knowledge of Chinese history, another major subject we were interested in.

TravelChinaGuide's experienced, helpful, and extremely courteous guides gave us a glimpse into the many faces of China. We were able to learn about the history, people, culture and cuisine of this great country with much ease, and very little stress. The travel counselors and guides make sure that along every step of the way, from flight and hotel bookings to bike tours and meal suggestions, our expectations were exceeded every time!

We recommend anyone curious about visiting China to absolutely take these tours.
