Thank you for arranging our China tour.

We had a great time and the service was better than expected. The hotel / meals / tours / vehicle and guide (Rose) in Beijing were great with no problems. Rose and the driver were flexible enough to meet our needs and we had no problem understanding Rose's good English.

All the travel arrangements worked smoothly and we never waited for anybody to pick us up to take us to our next destination, so no problem with the arrangements in any of Beijing / Chongqing / Wuhan cities or flight plans.

The meals in Beijing were great and we appreciate the high quality level of restaurant that we were taken to.

I don't believe any of the guides on our tour were not conscientious or not able to communicate well enough in English or who lacked any knowledge that we were seeking.

The cars were new / modern / clean with good drivers, (though the traffic is a bit scary in some cities, but I think this is more to do with the rapid increase in use of automobiles and the many cyclists)

As mentioned, we found Rose to be a great guide in Beijing, with a good command of English and a good sense of humour. We did not spend much time with other guides in other places, just short trips in various places along the Yangtze, so cannot really comment about them.

The Princess Elaine - Yangtze river cruise was great and she is a smart / clean ship. We ended up having one twin room and one single room which was better than arranged. So no problems there.

The tours along the way were also a welcome break from the river and interesting, Fengdu in particular was beautiful.

We had a fantastic time and only wish we could have stayed longer and perhaps visited Shanghai city and possibly Tibet. The people were friendly, food was good, rooms were nice, guides were helpful and the Yangtze River Three Gorges very beautiful. We never felt unsafe anywhere during our time in China. China is such a big country that it is hard to see all that one wants to see in 8 days.
