Sorry it took me so long to respond to your request, but I happily forward some comments:

1. Meals: I enjoyed all the food very much and I often tried typical local dishes and found many of them delicious and interesting. I sampled Chinese white and red wine, and found it very tasty. In Tibet I loved the yak butter tea and of course the yak meat. The only western meal I enjoyed thoroughly was the lunch in the "Kyichu" Hotel in Lhasa, where I ordered a yak steak and a variety of vegetables.

2. Guides: All guides were personable, helpfull, friendly and they spoke good to very good English. Their knowledge of the Chinese history was excellent, informative and richly presented. Our guide Lobsang in Shangri La had some difficulties, but he is new in the trade and obviously needs a chance to improve his language skills as well as his manner to deal and care for his charges.

3. Cars: All the drivers were absoloutly delightful. Always on time, always with clean cars and always excellent in dealing with, at times, very heavy traffic.

My compliments to you and your organisation - Travel China Guide. It never failed, we were met regularly as clock work. Identification at the various airports was at all times easy. All the hotels you chose were good to excellent. The places we visited were wonderful and left me with a wish to return and see more of your intersting country. I always felt well looked after and safe.

All in all a most wonderful China journey!! I loved the experience, the Chinese people and the friendly Tibetans. My suggestion is to anyone who would like to travel in China, go now and be pampered by Travel China Guide.
