The duration at each site was fine. The guides tended to be flexible enough so as to take our thoughts into consideration (ie a couple of museum tours were shortened). We also were able to 'avoid' a second trip to a silk carpet factory due to a flexible guide.

The meals were oustanding, I was most impressed, and probably put weight ON rather than lost any, which can often happen when wary of new foods! The banquet concept was ideal, with opportunity to taste many varied meals on each occasion. Hard to choose favourites. All I might suggest would be that maybe a couple of meals could be served as individual servings (ala Western style) just to mix things up? But overall outstanding. One restaurant that our Guilin guide took us to was the best...opposite a river. It had heaps of locals, so felt really authentic.

All four guides were extremely conscientious, in terms of making sure they did everything possible to make our time profitable. On occasions that individual issues would arise for certain travel group participants, the guides always ensured the concerns were dealt with professionally and effectively.

All the drivers were first calss. I really sensed all drivers were very safe. Not easy on those roads, but I never felt unsafe.

All four guides were terrific. Each was different, but all enjoyed the company that our group provided. A couple showed lots of personality once they saw our group was a fun group to lead!

Look, I just think that it's important to recognise the value for money we ALL felt we got from our experience. The toue was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than many other companies offer for the same adventures. This made many of us a tad wary as to where 'short-cuts' maybe made to cut costs. However, we all walked away amazed at how much value we got for our return. I have NO hesitation in HIGHLY recommending this group to others who may be thinking about visiting China in the future. Well done one and all.... and this goes right up to you (Maggie and Ruby) who were immdeiate and helpful in responses to queries I had before the tour.
