Dear Vicky,

Everything was well arranged from start to finish. Thanks for your great assistance in organizing such an excellent China trip for us.

David in Beijing is an exceptional good guide. He is very knowledgeable, fun, kind and attentative. We were not shoppers and he never dragged us through factories. We toured, talked history, culture and the future. A really great time!

I also loved Xian. I felt like I was home because my tour guide Carol and the driver Mr. Guo. Carol was an exceptional guide, probably the best I have had anywhere in the world. She brought the history and culture of Xian alive. The restaurants were all very good, too.

Our guide Steven in Chongqing was good because we had some extra time and he took us to a beautiful central square and to a fine arts gallery. He let us decide how much time we wanted to spend in each place.

We have been delighted with the arrangements for our holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending TravelChinaGuide to others.

Thanks again!

Dear Mr. William Ye and Ms. Vicky Dong,

Steve and I want to thank you for providing us with such a wonderful China tour. It was one of the best travel experiences that we've had. We do have some comments which might be of help to you. In regards to the restaurants, we were under the impression that they had been chosen by your office rather than the local guide. However this did not seem to be the case in every location. The best lunchtime dining experience was in Guilin at the Yi Yuan on Bin Jiang Road. Our guide, Clara, suggested this and we especially liked the small intimate feeling of the place as compared to the open, larger restaurants which seemed suited more for tour groups. Linda in Xian was most innovative by showing us pictures of the traditional dishes and allowed us to choose the ones we had an interest in before arriving at the restaurant. All our meals in Xian were good.

All your hotel selections were perfect for us. The Shangri-La Golden Flower in Xian was the only one we had a problem with and that is one we chose ourselves... William, we mentioned this to you when we saw you during our lunch in Xian. The Sheraton in Suzhou was the most attractive and the Sofitel in Shanghai was the perfect location with an excellent room, good service and the best restaurant of all the hotels we stayed in.

The guides all did their job, were on time and were very courteous. We were somewhat put-off by the personal questions they would ask, but we think this was their way of trying to be friendly. We felt the most professional guides were Carol in Chongqing, and Sean in Shanghai.

Overall, the China trip was wonderful and we want to thank you very much for your time and patience through the planning phase.

Sincerely,

Wells Horton and Steve Bryant
