  Dear Maggie and Vicky:

We are now in Japan visiting our daughter. I'll answer you questionaire, but before let me tell you that all your service was perfect, first class and we have absolutely no complaints.

Now, to your questions:
1. We liked all meals, without exception.

2. All of our guides were conscientious and all demosctrated deep knowledge of their areas. We could communicate with each other easily.

3.Drivers were careful, courteous and safe without exception. Cars were clean.

In general, all guides were equally helpful, knowledgeable and eager to fulfill any of our needs. To point out just one of them would not be fair to the rest.
We had a memorable experience in our first trip to China and we think it was thanks to the efficiency of the Travel China Guide organization. If in the future we go back to China we will certainly arrange the trip with you.

Best regards,

Saul and Sonia Ziperovich

The food selections were adequate overall, and the locations were sanitary. Neither of us suffered from sickness during the trip, so that was a real plus. (We appreciated the bottled water supplies)

Way too much food was given, however. We were just two people, but for a number of meals there was enough easily feed 4 or 5 people, so too much went to waste.

We also found the food in Beijing especially to be bland (even when requesting spicier food), but that may just be the nature of the cuisine there. A notable exception in Beijing was the breakfast buffet at the hotel--the best we had for the entire trip.

The restaurant that we went to on our own in Xian was pretty good--it was one recommended by our guide Lily. A few more experiences like that would have been cool.

But the best restaurant experience was in Guilin. It was so good that we were glad to be able to return there for a second time. Would highly recommend that one to anyone visiting this city!

All drivers were courteous, quiet, and performed their duties well. The cars were all clean.

Top honors to our guide in Lhasa for making our stay in Tibet especially memorable. He was instrumental for delivering exactly what we wanted to experience, most notably when he went beyond the usual guide duties and was able to arrange for us to experience a special blessing by a high lama. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the area, people, and culture and communicated well with us.

Also, we highly commend Stephanie (Guilin). Even though Guilin doesn't have the vast amount of history to cover, her lively personality was a huge plus--perfectly matching the scenic area. When we had extra time on the last day because of a late flight, she took extra time to get to know us and vice-versa; so that was an extra memorable bonus.

We were very satisfied with Travel China Guide services. You made traveling to China much easier, finding good, safe, and sanitary lodging and restaurants readily available. With as complicated as our schedule was, it was a big relief to know that we would be met at every airport on time with a guide who quickly allowed us to adjust to our new environment.
