We will definitely book AGAIN with your company - Travel China Guide, next time our travels take us to China.

Guides in Shanghai (Tania) and Guilin (Kevin) were excellent. Both spoke very good English and language was not a problem. Tania was very helpful in getting us to the attractions more quickly than perhaps average tourists. This was by our request, and it gave us more time for rest. She was excellent.

Kevin was extremelyl helpful and explained everything in Guilin. I took great pictures from Reed Flute Cave only to find them out of focus when I looked at them on my laptop in hotel room the first night there. We asked Kevin to take us back, on our last day, just before our return flight. With his help and connections, he and I got into the cave FIRST the next morning before other tourists (note that I gladly paid again for the admission to the cave, from my own pocket, as only the first visit was included in tour package). This time, I got perfect pictures, thanks all to Kevin !!

Your drivers were also excellent, and the vehicles were nice. It was VERY much appreciated to be given water each day. It is difficult to find familiar things to drink, on our own, in foreign countries.

Food was very good and within local standards. We are just not quite used to Chinese, Chinese food; our issue, not yours !!

Thank you again for all your help planning this wonderful China tour.

1.The meal arrangements were very good. Our guide arranged everything for us and stayed with us until all food was ordered. Although this was a private tour for us, we wouldn't have minded if our guide and driver joined us for the meals. We offered, but each time they declined. Some people may not have wanted them to join, but we would have liked their company.

2. Our guide, Tina, was wonderful. Although she was very young, ( our daughter's age), she was very attentive to every detail of our tour. She was always on time. Her English was very good and we all learned a little of our languages from each other. Her knowledge of the history and sites that we visited was very good, but we often had to ask. The information was not freely given. I don't see this as a negative, only that she is young and needs more experience. In time she will improve in this aspect. Overall, I give Tina an A+. We enjoyed her so much that we hope to keep in touch with her and host her in our country if she gets the opportunity to visit.

3. Our driver, Mr. Dan, was very kind. He didn't speak much English, but that was not a problem as our guide was a good translator. He was very nice and polite, opened doors, always waiting when it was time to go and drove very well in the crazy Beijing traffic. We felt very safe. The car was always clean, comfortable and provided the much appreciated bottled water.

Overall, we were very pleased with your company -Travel China Guide both in preparation and the actual tour. We had several issues in planning due to our schedule that your arranged flawlessly. I hope to visit China again in the future and will book through Travel China Guide. Please feel free to use our comments. Attached are some of my favorite pictures.
