Thanks for your note. We had a great time and really enjoyed our first trip to China. I'm looking forward to doing it again, perhaps next time visiting Tibet and the Silk Road.

It's hard to say which was the "best" guide since three of the four were so marvelous. Each of the three had personal characteristics that made them especially informative and charming, each in their own way. Andy in Beijing was so enthusiastic and helpful that it couldn't have been better. He climbed the Great Wall with us and shared his exciting about Chinese history. And Judy in Guilin was so pleasant and went out of her way to accommodate us that we couldn't have been happier. She made the boat trip down the Li River and the bike ride really special. Carol was a wealth of knowledge about Xian, the early dynasties and the Terracotta warriors. Wonderful guides!

Thank you for a lovely trip. The hotel were first class, food was great, and guides were outstanding.

Hi Brenda,

Thanks for a great holiday and also for your assistance on 30th August when we missed our flight home because of our missing visa. It was very much appreciated.

The meals were good in all venues. We particularly liked the Peking Duck meal in Beijing. The lunchtime meals were also very good.

All of the guides were conscientious, spoke good English and displayed good knowledge. The Xian guide was our favourite as she was very informatuve, friendly and spoke excellent English.

The cars and driver service were excellent. Our driver in Nepal was particularly helpful in accomodating us when our itinerary changed at short notice.

Our guide in Xian (Lily) was particularly helpful and friendly. Marcus was also helpful in resolving our visa problems in Beijing!

"We had an excellent holiday, we were really well looked after by our guides, who spoke good English, the itinerary was was well planned, good transport, hotels, food and entertainment, highly recommended!
