Angela,

Thanks for asking. We are pleased to provide our comments below.

All guides were excellent. Helen has an extremely good knowledge of the area and its history and she along with the driver (sorry forget his name) were most helpful when we had to purchase a new camera. The food in Xian was good especially the famous dumplings this was probably the best meal we had. I think that a lighter lunch would be better as not everyone likes to have two large meals in a day.

The buffet dinner in Chongqing was ok but as our flight was delayed the quality of the food was a little disapointing. The guide and driver we had were very good but we only had them for a short period of time (airport -hotel-boat) but her english and knowledge of the area was also good. (i think her name was Jenna)

When we arrived in Yichang we were met by a young man who's name i think was Owen (sorry if i got that wrong) he was very helpful and found us a internet cafe so my daughter could download her photos we then went to lunch which was very good apart from the fact we had no choice in the food it had all been decided for us, when asked for a vegetarian option we were told that it was eggplant and beans which when it came had pork through it when we told staff they were not interested the staff at that restaurant were not very helpful. The guide then took us to bus station so we could get my daughter to Wuhan he was very nice and let us wait until her bus left. The embroidery shop was a nice place to visit but the Sturgeon museum is not it was a dirty very run down place I am sure there are more interesting things for tourists to do in Yichang, that part of the trip was not nice.

Over all the guides, drivers and their vehicles were very good I would recommend your company Travel China Guide to anyone.

Thanks for all your help in organising our China trip.

Best wishes Fraser King

Note: According to the reflection of our clients, we have removed the Chinese Sturgeon Museum from our itineraries.
