Dear Ruby/Maggie,

We had an excellent China holiday and would like to thank you very much, everything was well organised and we only have one suggestion but no complaints at all. Loved all our accomodation, the Holiday Inn Beijing was our favourite as the staff there are spectacular as are the hotel facilities. Juliett our guide there was the greatest, so knowledgable and a lovely caring person. Think she was everyone's favourite, what she didn't know wasn't worth knowing. Coach and driver great there too.

Xian was also great. We got there late but that was unavoidable as we had lots to see in Beijing before we left. Hotel and location terrific. Echo our guide was very professional and knew how to handle our group who by that stage were getting a bit cheeky. She took us to more nice restaurants and selected great local dishes for us. Coach and driver once again very efficient.

There we left most of the group and 6 of us went to Guilin...unfotunately there our flight was a late departure and we got to Guilin too late. Too late for 4 of us to go out to dinner. That is the only suggestion we can make...an earlier flight, being in the airline business we noticed an earlier departure on another airline. William looked after us there and even managed to take us out on the streets on pushbikes and keep us all intact. Had a terrific trip on the Li River and of course you have to like Yangshuo. Once again the hotels were very nice as were the coach and driver.

Now Shanghai, we were met by Lulu and have to say there we didn't do the day tour as we had done all that last year but had the farewell dinner and went to the show which was unreal as were all the shows we went too.

Thanks again girls, as I said we both had a good time, saw the great sights, stayed in nice hotels, ate nice food in beaut restaurants, saw fantastic shows, met nice people and hopefully you will see us again next year.

Also it was nice to meet you Ruby.
