Dear Judy Su,

It was nice to meet you in Xian during our lunch. As I told you at that time I was very very happy to recommend your service of TravelChinaGuide. I was very impressed with how quickly you responded to all of my emails (43) and questions about our private tour. Even though our time was limited in China, you were able to pack so much into the schedule. I have the highest regard for your personal service and that of the company you represent.

I would also ask that you in particular compliment 2 of our guides. Even though all three were very good, Brian Ma in Beijing and Weimin in Shanghai were absolutely fantastic.

Brian Ma gave us a very good start since this is the first time we had visited China. Since we did not realize how much walking was involved and we had an elderly man with us, it was a very difficult job to keep on schedule (and the Beijing traffic did not help either). He had to constantly change our schedule and did it without giving us any stress. He did a wonderful job of this.

Weimin in Shanghai is one of the best guides we have ever had in our travels to over 42 countries during a span of 40 years. She was so kind and considerate. Her knowledge of the history and current events in Shanghai is fantastic! She has so much energy and made us feel as though we were part of her family. FANTASTIC!!!!

Julia who we had in Xian was very thoughtful about getting the elderly man we had with us a wheelchair when he noticed he had problems walking so far.

If you could only control the terrible traffic in Beijing. :-)

The hotels, meals, air travel between cities was excellent. The drivers were knowledgeable and very safety minded. I am sorry I do not know the name of the driver in Shanghai as he knew ever road and back road and was able to avoid any traffic problems we had.

Dear Ruby,

thank you for your e-mail. Everything went really well and we are overall very pleased about the whole trip!

Meals were usually very fine. We had many and picking just one up would be difficult, also because at this point I would risk to mix them up.

As for the guides, some were better some a bit less, but overall communication was quite OK at all times. We understand how difficult is for Chinese people to speak such a different language.

We personally really enjoyed the attitude of Connie. Even though you could see she was not the most expert among the guides, she was surely sincerely helpful and extremely kind and gentle. I cannot forget that. So please, give her our best regards, we would appreciate if she could understand how much we appreciated her.

Cars were very clean and drivers always helpful.

Pictures, I will be glad to share some of them (I have so many!!!) with you, but I still need time to organize and post-process them. Maybe can case I forget... :-\

In conclusion, the trip was absolutely fantastic and we really enjoyed it! We did not have a single problem, not a single one, which means Travel China Guide has done a great and meticulous job in organizing it. Thank you very much!
