TravelChinaGuide,First I want to apologize for taking so long to reply. My family and I were very impressed with all aspects of the tours your company provided for us during our visit to Beijing. The hotel and restaurants were great. All the meals were good but our favorite was the Duck. Our driver was prompt, courteous, and his driving was very good. I have to tell you that we were especially happy with our guide Tina. Her English and knowledge of the different places we visited was very good. She was friendly and was able to accommodate a few small changes we made to our itinerary. We were very pleased that she was the guide we had. We will gladly recommend your company to others that we know will be traveling to China, and also tell them to ask for Tina as a guide.
As you can tell, we were happy with everything that was provided by your company. That includes the restaurants, driver, vehicle, hotel and especially our guide Tina. If we ever happen to get a chance to return we will definitely book our trip through your company.
I have a question for you about a possible trip some friends and myself will be taking about April 2009. Does your company provide any type of golf package for the Mission Hills Golf Club outside Hong Kong? About 8-12 of my friends are considering going to Mission Hills for about 4 or 5 days for golfing during April 2009 . If you provide any types of packages, would you please send me some information. Thank you, Dale

Hi!This is my first opportunity to reply to you.
I would like to say that the tour was really fantastic and I would without doubt recommend your company and its tours to anyone.
Although at times it was hard work the arrangements for the various visits were faultless, the guide and bus were always available and the guides very knowledgable and sociable.
The hotels we stayed in were really first class, even the hastily arranged diversion. The food presented was unbeleivable and in such classy restaurants.
The only part of the tour which was slightly not as good as the rest was our visit to Shanghai. Although knowledgable the guide seemed unsure as to what was happening in the Bund area regarding construction projects and had a problem in deciding where the coach should collect us. Also in the restaurant we visited for Lunch, the standard did not seem as high as some of the others we had visited as some of the plates/glasses were chipped.
This however was a very minor point, all I can say is YOU WERE FANTASTIC.
Should I return to China I will most certainly contact your company first.
You have my e-mail address, I am willing to give my views to any prospective clients on a one to one basis.
Once again many thanks for an unforgettable holiday.
Best wished to you all
Sheila and Colin Harbottle.

How fortunate we feel to have been able to take this brief tour with 9 wonderful people and very good tour guides and drivers. We were very pleased with the itinerary and accommodation.
Your having the meal arrive at the table so quickly after getting to a restaurant was an excellent way to conserve time for visiting attractions. The downside of this was that many meals were very similar and eating became a little monotonous.
The dumpling dinner was a favourite and provided a pleasant change. Since we enjoyed perfect weather throughout our tour we were wishing we could have had a "bag lunch" to enjoy on the Great Wall and at the Summer Palace. That would have added some variety to the food and would have allowed more time in those incredible settings. A "bag lunch" or any other plan to avoid the airport food would have been welcome.
Since our trip was just prior to the Olympics I would have appreciated a closer look at some of the sites being prepared. After getting home I saw pictures of some of the gardens. To see them in person would have been very special.
Ah...SO MUCH TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE and SO LITTLE TIME!!!
In Xian Zhou li's engaging, kind nature made us all want to have her come home with us. She was attentive to such details as introducing the driver who was especially personable--they were a great team. We especially appreciated her accommodating our wish to see the city wall with its lights and directing each of us to our preferred evening pursuits. Since we were there on April 30, the city was electric with preparations for May 1 celebrations.
Shanghai will certainly require another visit. Our time was just too short to become acquainted with the waterfront and the many incredible buildings. Thanks to Lawry, one of our group, we experienced a real highlight-- taking the Maglev (the high-speed train) to the airport. Annie, our guide, was helpful in sorting out the best way to do so.
I have already recommended Travel China Guide to friends and will continue to do so.
Thank you for your part in making our holiday memorable.
