Dear TravelChinaGuide,

Sorry for the very late reply! I've had good intentions to write back sooner, but unfortunately time just keeps flying by. :)

Thank you for the holiday card, we loved the ethnic minority costumes.

We've actually been busy working on posting photos from our China vacation with Travel China Guide, which we uploaded to our website here:
http://www. thinkbigadventures.com/ asia/asiaindex.htm (click on China). As they say, a picture is worth a 1000 words, and already several of our friends are thinking about visiting China after seeing how lovely our vacation was. Please feel free to share this with your other clients as it may give them a better understanding of what to expect while in China. If any interested clients wish to contact us about our tour, our website has a "contact us" section and we'd be happy to answer any questions that potential visitors may have.

As for the overall impression of China tour, we're glad to share here:

1. Meals were great. We liked the wide variety and selection of different foods. Also, not having every single meal included was a good idea so we could try whatever dishes we wanted to on our own, and at our convenience. If there is only one meal that we'd recommend to our friends and family, we'd recommend Xi'an's Horizon Restaurant (lunch) and Tang Dynasty Dumpling banquet (dinner). Also, Guilin's YiYuan restaurant (lunch) was excellent...very good spicy Sichuan. Lastly, the Chongqing's Holiday Inn lunch buffet was also very, very good.

2. Guides: All of our guides were great...no problems with any of them. All of them had an excellent command of English so there was never a miscommunication at all. And all of them were extremely knowledgeable about the places we visited...two thumbs up for our guides. Our favorite guide was Chen (Jenny) from Xi'an who helped us fall in love with that beautiful city. She was extremely patient with us (we love to take photos!) and more than helpful in every way for everything we asked for. She is an excellent ambassador for China and we hope that she is able to lead China wide tours (outside of Xi'an) as she would be very popular as a large group guide. We travel a lot all around the world and see tremendous potential in Chen to become one of China's top tour guides.

3. Cars: Immaculate...never an issue with any of the vehicles or drivers, who were safe, courteous and very pleasant.

Best regards,

Becky (from USA, www.thinkbigadventures.com)
