Dear William Ye,
We had a wonderful China trip and look forward to returning some day. We both agree that if we can do this again, our only request is to schedule some down time in between touring so we can rest. We are in our 60's and have arthritis and did not plan for the constant "on the go" which would have been better to slow down.
We loved the food, the best we ever had. Our only problem was there was so much of it. We eventually had to turn down some of it. We are older and just don't eat that much anymore. We loved the Peking Duck dinner and the Lemon Chicken most, but it was ALL very good and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to China.
We were very pleased with our guides and would request them again when we return for another visit. They were knowledgable, courteous and spoke excellent English. They always went out of their way to make us easy and comfortable during the whole tour.
Juliet was very professional, was very good at getting us to some shops we wanted to visit and when I was not feeling well one night, missed dinner, she sent some food back with my husband. I was very grateful and she was also very knowledgeable about Beijing and Chinese history.
Ruth was even more knowledgeable about the history of the Xi'an area and also very good at helping us visit a tea house we wanted to go to. As stated above, both women went above and beyond the expectation and we would definently request them again, or recommend them to friends going to China.
All the drivers were all great and polite and very skilled. I was never scared in the traffic or with the speed.
Our whole China tour was awesome. Our guides were very knowledgeable and invested in our desire for a grand experience in China. We would like to return and would recommend Juliet and Ruth as guides again. The food was never mediocre, always mouth watering.
