  I had two different guides on the two tour days I had. Both of them were excellent.. Their English language skills were some of the best I heard in China. Very, very knowledgeable about the tour sites we saw and about many other subjects. I thoroughly enjoyed my experiences and contacts with the guides chosen for us. I only wish that I had more time to spend with them. As in the past, TravelChinaGuide provided a great tour for me, even if it was for just three days.

The car and driver was also excellent, as always.

Our trip to Hangzhou was brief...only three days, but the schedule was consistently complicated by my changes. Due to previous commitments I had to make constant changes in our schedule up to our date of arrival. My office contact, Flora Cu took my changes with grace, humor, and constant support. I am most grateful to her tolerance of my requirements. This tour was my third tour with TravelChinaGuide, but certainly not my last. I have found everyone extremely helpful and cooperative to my requests. I will be planning another trip in October. My guides in Hangzhou were also excellent. Their knowledge of subject was complete plus they had a great deal of knowledge of the world outside of China. Most impressive! Their command of English was some of the best that I've heard during my three years of visiting and working in China. Please use me as a constant supporter of TravelChinaGuide.

  We were extremely pleased with the arrangements Travel China Guide made. The guides and drivers were on time every day and were knowledgeable. We are vegetarians (we do eat fish) and were concerned with the dining arrangements, but Travel China Guide did a great job acommodating our needs and the meals were wonderful. They exceeded our expectations. And there was enough food for 6 people even though there were just 2 of us. We had requested booking 2 Banyan Tree hotels (in Shangri-la and Lijiang) and they were absolutely amazing. The best hotels we've ever stayed in!!

Each of the guides checked us in for our flight and then walked us up to the security gate at the airport.

Overall the meals were very good. We thought the lunch at the Tibetan restaurant in Shangri-la was wonderful. Very interesting choice of foods in a local charming restaurant.

All the guides were good. We would like to commend Ruth, our guide in Xian. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and acommodating. We highly recommend her!!! She's a doll!!!! She gave us a great overview of the history of the area.

We also particularly liked our guide in Shangri-la, Ma. She brought us to a local farmer's home which was very interesting. Alvin, our guide in Lijiang was nice enough to walk us through the old town and orient us.

The cars were all clean and the drivers were good.

We would definitely use your services when we return to China!
