Overall we were very pleased with your service while organising the trip, for which we thank you personally, and with the attention we received from the guides and drivers in China. We have already filled in questionnaires given to us by each of the three guides we had, and have little to add here.

Generally the meals were good, although a couple were only moderate. The two highlights were the dumpling dinner in Xian (unusual) and the Peking duck dinner in Beijing (quality).

The English of our guides Julia in Xian and Robin in Guilin were excellent. Our guide in Beijing's English was a little weak, inhibiting some deeper conversation. But (see below) she was very helpful in other ways.

The guides in Xian and Guilin were very knowledgeable and as noted above communicated very well. Our guide Linda in Beijing was very helpful in enabling a switch of tors between days at short notice to make best use of weather.

  The meals were in general very good. I'd highlight the dinner in Shanghai, the dinner in typical restaurant in Guilin and the two first lunchs in Xian. The dinner in Xian hotel and the lunch in the boat to Yangshuo were the only melas not so good. The first one was more international meal and the other, as previously informed, is quite simple.

All the guides were all very good. The knowledge of Julia (Xian) and the attention of Yvonne (Guilin) were remarkable. Yvonne is a great asset and a credit to your company and your country. Clear, concise, well versed in local history and information, down to earth and extreamly friendly. Adept at getting a large group where they need to be. She is an excellent representative for Guilin and more importantly for China. She is to be commended. And also, I'd like to highlight Julia for its excellent English level.

The drivers were also very good and drove safely and their vehicles were always kept clean and tidy.

I will prepare some photos with Priscilla and send you afterwards. Thank you for arranging such a good trip for us and will recommend your company to our friends.
