Hi Lorna at Travel China Guide,

May we offer full compliments on your Travel Service. The Guides, the Service and the Itinerary were all excellent.

This was our third visit to China and should we be able to come again in the future we would certainly not hesitate to use your service again or to recommend it to others.

All meals arranged by Travel China Guide were excellent. The Farewell Dinner Dinner at the Wang Bao Restaurant excellent.

The Guides used were excellent and gave us an informative journey. The language of the tour was English and the Guides were most proficient.

Obviously it is hard for us to develop a proper knowledge in such a short time, but the guides were very good and certainly did their best with our sometimes difficult questions.

Drivers and cars were excellent. Clean and comfortable.

Certainly we are happy for you to use our comments of you wish and yes, I will attach a photo of our group with this email

Overall we would like to thank Travel China Guide for a thoroughly enjoyable trip to Shanghai. We wish it could have been longer, but perhaps we can come again in the future and yes if that should be possible would most certainly use your company again,

Congratulations - Well done!

Yours Sincerely,

Jean-Francois & Maureen Hegy

Hi Maggie/Ruby,

Firstly, thank you for all your work in organising our trip to China. It really was a trip of a lifetime, so thanks for all your efforts.

I'd say that the time spent at sightseeing spots was just about right. There were some sights (ie Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors, Li River) that I could spend weeks at, yet having a few hours there was enough time to take in the incredible views.

I thought the food was great, both at the hotels and the restaurants we were taken too. I love Chinese food, and thought the variety on offer, made sure that we never got bored. If I had to pick a favourite meal, I think it would be the hotpot in Xian - I've never tried it before, so it was a fun new experience, and very tasty!

All the guides were excellent, and in a way I felt they reflected the cities they were showing us. Amy in Shanghai was young and vibrant, and full of pride and knowledge about her home city. Rebecca in Guilin was lovely person, she seemed really laidback, yet also had great knowledge of the local area. As our group was smaller on this section of the tour, she took time to make sure each of us had all of our questions answered, she really knew her stuff! Likewise Echo in Xian, she reeled off so many details about the History of Xian, that I couldn't take it all in!! I think in Beijing we were so lucky to have David as our guide. All the other guides were excellent, but David just went that one notch higher. He was very informative, yet kept it so interesting by adding in anecdotes relating to the history of Beijing. He had a great sense of humour, and seemed to take extra care over every member of the group. This guy is a real star and I can't sing his praises highly enough.

The drivers/minibuses were great too. At times the traffic in the cities looked chaotic, yet for us passengers it seemed easy, as our drivers skilfully manoeuvred their way through the traffic.

If I had one criticism of the trip (and this may sound strange), we were looked after too well. The amount of food on offer was at times embarrassing - yes I did put on weight! Many of the restaurant staff would treat us like royalty, constantly topping up our drinks and making sure everything was perfect for us. While it's the best service I've ever had, it was almost too much at times. many of the attractions we visited had big queues, yet we always managed to bypass these. Again this is great, but towards the end I was feeling guilty, and undeserving of the preferential treatment!

My main concern before this trip was whether TravelChinaGuide actually existed, and felt nervous handing over my money to a company I knew nothing about. Because of this I don't mind you using my email address for others to contact me. Rather than using my work address, please use the following address: g_j_robinson@sky.com

Many thanks again and best wishes.
