Hi Nicole and Ruby,

We were thoroughly pleased with our tour. It definitely exceeded our expectations in nearly every aspect. Apart from one disappointing meal at the airport in Xi'an, our trip was nearly perfect. I will answer questions below, but I would appreciate if you would not post my personal e-mail on your website.

We thought that the time allotted for each site was sufficient with the exception of our second day on Xi'an.

The meals were tremendous. We were thoroughly shocked as we had relatively low expectations before the trip. The guides always did their best to order a variety of dishes to satisfy the group. The dumpling banquet/show was exceptional.

One suggestion for future groups is that I would have gladly paid additional money as part of the tour to have unlimited beverages at the meals. I thought the two drink maximum was a bit of an annoyance, especially during some of the spicier meals.

The guides' level of English was above our expectations and never caused a problem. They were all conscientious and like a walking encyclopedia of the sites we visited.

The drivers were courteous and always on-time and the busses were clean.

David in Beijing and Owen in Guilin were exceptional. They were by far the best guides during our trip. They were kind and helpful and put in a tremendous amount of effort to ensure the happiness of each member of the group.

We enjoyed our China trip so much. You do a great job setting up the sites and always being there for pickup. When we decided to see China, we knew doing it on our own might not be a good idea. The first person we saw upon arriving at the Beijing airport was our tour guide, David. What a great feeling to know you were being looked after. We enjoyed Beijing and got to see the sites we were interested in. Would have loved a little more time for souvenir shopping but the sites were why we had come. David showed us so much and gave us great information on the trip. Xian was a good part of the trip. Echo was our guide and like David did a fantastic job. The cruise down the Yangtze River was really good. Shanghai was another interesting place to visit. The meals were good at all locations, especially on the Princess Sheena. Sometimes we did want some more meat for the selections but we were pleased with everything. The drivers amazed us with how they handled the traffic and got us to the next site on schedule.

This was our first trip to China. We saw so many parts of China on this tour and enjoyed every minute of it and will cherish these memories. The tour guides and drivers were always there for us, so we could relax and enjoy the trip. You do an excellent job with the planning and follow through. The Cruise ship was late getting into Wuhan because of a delay through the locks and you changed the plane flight to work it out. We would have been lost in China by ourselves but with Travel China Guide, we felt well taken care of. The guides and drivers were top notch and we thank everyone at Travel China Guide for a job well done.
