We thank you for an excellent planned tour, with all the guides and car drivers greeting us on time and then seeing us off safely on our internal flights. The only alteration to the itinary we would have made would have been to have one day less in Xian and one day more in Shanghai.

MEALS: All good especially when selected by the guides. The Tang Dynasty meal and show was one of the best of the tour.

GUIDES: Beijing - Tina - excellent. Xian - knowledgable but lacked the enthusiasm of the other guides at times. Tina and Grace - both very good. Shanghai - Zu - excellent and went out of her way to make our trip enjoyable. All the guides were able to communicate in very good English and they were all knowledgable regarding the places and cities we visited.

CARS: All excellent - comfortable and drivers good. All drivers drove safely.

We felt that Tina in Beijing was a great asset to your company - she was always happy and very enthusiastic - a delight to be with and very considerate of our ability to get about especially at the Great Wall. Also Zu her knowledge was excellent and showed us many places of interest in her city - making our visit to Shanghai memorable.

CRUISE: This very enjoyable with excellent commentary from the guide on board and the trips were all well arranged.

We would definitely recommend your company to others - we all had a wonderful time in China.

Ref. our recent 2 week tour of Beijing / Xian / Yangste River Gorges / Shanghai.

We were impressed by the standard of service we received from your Company both prior to the tour and the arrangements made during it.

The standard of Hotels, travel arrangements, itinerary, and internal flights, were very good, and the punctuality of your tour guides and drivers were exceptional.

The 2 weeks went very quickly, and at times the schedule was a little hectic, perhaps we were too ambitious in our desire to see as much as possible.

I think a day less in Xian in exchange for extra time in Shanghai, would have been better.

We would have liked more time to browse around the City centres, or local parks and gardens, but appreciate your guides wanted to show us as much as possible in the time allowed.

To the specific aspects:

1.Meals were varied in their appeal to our western palettes. Some were very good and non were poor, but our efforts to master the HOT POT, and trying to order dishes without some help, was frustrating.

2.The guides were pleasant and well informed, their English was good, and they looked after our needs very well.

3. Cars were always clean and punctual, and their drivers were generally courteous.

To select special mention is difficult as we were on the move so much, but Tina in Beijing was outstanding in her 3 days with us, showing us the sights at a leisurely pace, and being generally attentive to our needs and questions, and having a personal charm that made us feel very welcome.

The Shanghai guide, Schu, also went the extra mile to accommodate our schedule, and her experience showed in the limited time we spent there.

I also wish to thank your driver, Mr. Chen in Xian, who found my camera in his vehicle, and through your company’s organisation, returned it to me in Shanghai. Thanks to all concerned.

In conclusion, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to your amazing country and the friendliness of its people. The service we received from everyone was very good, and at no time did we feel threatened in any way.

In learning the History of your people and seeing for ourselves the development of your Country, we returned home with an more educated viewpoint than in the past.

As with any holiday, the weather played a big part in our enjoyment, warm and sunny for most of the time, and only the odd rain shower.

The places we visited were also very clean, litter free, and we were impressed by the road networks and bridges along the way.

The amount of traffic is a problem that will require some solution shortly, and the indiscipline of the drivers needs urgent control.
